Granier — Restaurant in Lisbon

Run away from this place! Typical place to rip off tourists. We went for breakfast because we were staying at a hotel nearby. There wasn't much of a queue and we thought it would be quick. They have a breakfast menu for 3.20 euros that includes a sandwich, coffee and juice. We thought it was a good option. When they attended us they told us that this menu was not available and that we had to order things separately. Seeing the price of the sandwiches separately, 4.50 euros, we ended up ordering a muffin and a croissant from the day before. Two juices in a plastic cup, two coffees with milk, a muffin and a croissant, all for 13 euros!!! In addition, the place was full of trays from other customers and since they had the door open, the pigeons entered to look for food among the leftovers. Don't be fooled, in Lisbon there are many places where you can have good coffee and a pastel de nata for a euro or...

Poor customer service. Not clean neither outdoors nor indoors. Doves flying all over the place fighting for any pieces of leftovers and also hovering the customers food. My just ordered and paid juice fell from my tray due to a wobbly table. I told the staff about it, they cleaned it poorly and told me if you want another juice you need to queue and pay again. Once in the till the rude manager said that despite the fact that it had accidentally fallen 'you need to pay again for the juice'. On holiday and staying accross the road. Seen the café and though myself and my girlfriend would try it for a quick bite. After the experience I had I would of rather walked an extra hour for something. Staff were very rude. Girl behind the counter literally rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a toasted sandwich that was shown on the menu in front of me on the counter.
