I would give this 4.5 stars. This location, in Campo Pequeno, only accepts cash for foreign card holders and EU or Portuguese cards only. The waitress let us know in advance to avoid an awkward situation at the end. There is an ATM across the street. It was a little confusing to find at first too. There’s seating outside but the main restaurant is inside the building and down the stairs. You’ll see a sign once you enter the building next to the outdoor seating for the restaurant.
Besides the above, the food was SO good! We got the tonkotsu and the Joe Special ramen. Both broths were amazing. The waitress was so nice and willing to help! Would highly...

The noodles aren’t chewy, definitely no kansui involved, they’re soft and chunky and swell in broth. The Joe special broth is overpowered by ginger and unnecessarily spicy. You can’t taste any chicken or pork, no aroma oils, just overboiled vegetable taste. Chashu was tender but that’s about it. No char, no taste. Ajitama was okay tho. We ordered a starter, veg ramen, and veg tantan, but the starter never came, and they brought two tantans instead. The tantan was bland, and the tofu had no flavor.
When we got the bill, they charged us for the missing starter and the wrong dish, which was more expensive. To make matters worse, my friend got sick afterward. Not...
