I recently had the pleasure of visiting Idea Ramen, a delightful ramen restaurant with a unique Naruto theme. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant and playful ambiance that transported me to the world of Naruto.
Let's talk about the food! The tonkotsu ramen was an absolute treat. The rich and creamy pork-based broth was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The noodles were cooked to perfection, firm yet tender. The slices of succulent chashu were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the accompanying toppings added a wonderful depth of flavor to the dish.
But the real star of the show was the Idea Ramen itself. The combination of different flavors and textures was truly innovative. The broth, a harmonious blend of miso and soy, had a delightful umami taste that left me wanting more. The ramen was accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked proteins that elevated the dish to new heights. It was a culinary masterpiece that showcased the chef's creativity and expertise.
The gyozas were equally impressive. These pan-fried dumplings had a perfectly crispy exterior and a juicy filling that was bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delight, and I couldn't help but order a second serving.
The staff at Idea Ramen were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The restaurant's Naruto theme was well-executed, with vibrant murals and subtle nods to the beloved anime series throughout the space. Naruto fans, in particular, will appreciate the attention to detail.
In conclusion, Idea Ramen offers an exceptional dining experience for ramen lovers and Naruto enthusiasts alike. The combination of delicious, innovative dishes, friendly service, and a captivating theme make it a must-visit restaurant. I can't wait to return and try more of their enticing menu...
Read moreIf you have a set concept of what ramen should taste like, you have to toss away and be prepared to be amazed! This is not your traditional ramen but it sure blew our taste buds away!! We ordered the Vegan Fried Rice Noodles and the Vegan Ramen and both are truly amazing! I’m not sure how others can rate it as tasteless but coming and having grown up in asean countries and had countless ramen in my growing years, this is by far the best I’ve tasted!! The soup has this unique umami taste from blended spices that I can’t really describe but there is a level of sourness, sweetness, spiciness and the right level of salt to it. I thought there is a hint of curry in it and I relate to Thai cuisine too! Then when I tasted the Vegan Fried Rice Noodles, it’s almost the dried version of the soup version, except that the flavor is more intense! I couldn’t stop eating!! But the highlight is really when I switched back to the soup version after eating the fried version, that’s when the soup version is further accentuated! No I couldn’t stop taking both the soup together with the noodles in my soup ramen! 🤣🤣 Both versions are loaded with black fungus, carrots, bean sprouts and vegetables and its portions are more than adequate for the price paid! So, my conclusion is, u have to order both the soup and the fried versions and switch back and forth when u eat! That will give u a whole new experience of enjoying the dishes from here. Kudos to the chef for making these dishes beyond the norm. You’ve created a whole new version of how ramen can taste...
Read moreI was craving for a bowl of ramen, this humble store “Idea Ramen” in the basement food court of Campo Pegueno fixed it. The ramen noodle was good. While it’s not fresh hand-made ramen from Japan, but it’s good enough for me. The soup base is not the original thick creamy Tonkotsu bone base, but the flavor is addictive. It’s has a balance spicy flavour of tamarind, Asian spicy (like a grounded mixed spices with a tinge of curry flavor), yet is not too strong. I think the chilly was fried in oil that gave the full aroma to the soup. The veggies ramen bowl came with fried tofu which was crispy and tasty. I also ordered the fried noodle (rice noodle). The taste is consistent with the chillie paste base. It was well balance in umami, salt, sweet and acid. The egg fried with the noodle was fragrant. I suspect it is fried separately and added later - good decision. Only thing I would like less of is the oiliness of the dish. But it did not deter me from finishing the strand. Next visit, I would like to...
