Exceptional food. Multi-course extravaganza with every course outstanding. The free bread at the beginning might have been the highlight. It had lots of things in it. Our waiter spoke very little English and we couldn’t figure out all ingredients on our own. This a place where business-class Lisbonites hang out. A lot of the clientele knew each other, and pretty sure we were the only tourists there. The generous pour of free port at the end was far better than any of the ports we had paid for so far on our trip. They did have a menu in English for us. The menu is interesting and you can enjoy some specialties of the cuisine of northern Portugal. Very tasty appetizers, delicate and flavoursome soup of Atlantic spider crab! Great fish and seafood, offered in different styles. Most dishes contain ail, some are spicy hot. The house wine is more than honourable, do try their Port wine with...
