Exceptional food. Multi-course extravaganza with every course outstanding. The free bread at the beginning might have been the highlight. It had lots of things in it. Our waiter spoke very little English and we couldn’t figure out all ingredients on our own. This a place where business-class Lisbonites hang out. A lot of the clientele knew each other, and pretty sure we were the only tourists there. The generous pour of free port at the end was far better than any of the ports we had paid for so far on our trip. They did have a menu in English for us. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality, plus all the free items on top. Highly recommend. Go with whatever the chef’s specials are on the first page of the menu. Recommend reservations as it is fairly small and they were doing...

This is the third time I've been O NOBRE. I.enjoy the lamb chops and duck here. The service could improve. We were treating guests, so we arrived on time. However, our guests arrived and ended up sitting at the entrance. No one checked in on them until they surprisingly called us 15 minutes later. We had to guest up to receive them. The food tastes good but there is a serious lack of vegetables with the main dishes. If you order the petitcos, vegetables are provided but not with the main meal. Several overpriced converts are just left on the table, and unlesso whatever you are not interested in is returned, you can get charged for it all. The environment feels heavy and...

A very good restaurant, just behind the arena where they have corrida shows ( the Portuguese do that on horseback instead of on foot like they do in Spain, and they don't kill the bull). The menu is interesting and you can enjoy some specialties of the cuisine of northern Portugal. Very tasty appetizers, delicate and flavoursome soup of Atlantic spider crab! Great fish and seafood, offered in different styles. Most dishes contain ail, some are spicy hot. The house wine is more than honourable, do try their Port wine with...

I see this type of restaurant appealing to some portuguese people with no budget restrictions, but as a foreigner, I find myself disappointed by lack of food variety and the exaggerated prices. The dishes are the same that you would find elsewhere, you're just going to pay x4 times more. The fish is very fresh, my clams were relly big, but it's really the same typical portuguese menu. Food aside, i'm very pleased with the staff that was very professional and attentive. There are not many vegetarian options.

Ok, it is a favourite of ours and we are biased… But it is always a luxury to dine at Nobre, and these days in August we prefer to dit outside in the excellent hands of Rodrigo, who secures our desires with incredible kindness and efficiency. Tonight we had the sopa de santola, the a delicious cannelloni de caranguejo, prego no prato, the pasteis de massa tenra and a fabulous fondant de abobora with a couple of fabulous glasses of Passarela de Dão, water and coffee; all for €90! Its a true treat!
