Kolapata Restaurant — Restaurant in Lisbon

A small establishment which packs some mighty flavors in their dishes. I ordered the butter chicken with rice and paratha (thin bread with butter and deliciousness inside). I'm used to a thicker butter chicken sauce, although this did not disappoint. The flavor profile in the sauce was incredible and with dipping the paratha into the sauce, it was outstanding. The spices were dancing in my mouth and my pallet was quite pleased. My wife had the chana masala (chickpea) vegetarian dish which was also tasty. The owner and chef were very kind and polite. A newer restaurant to the area that you should definitely check this out if your in the mood for some tasty international food👍. They offer vegan and vegetarian options for those looking for alternatives. I would come back for sure. Taste buds...

The food was delicious, everything was freshly prepared. There's even freshly squeezed orange juice. The chicken masala was a dream, the sauce unbeatably delicious. The vegetarian counterpart with chickpeas had a different sauce, but was also very tasty.

The two gentlemen (owner & chef?) were extremely friendly, we were served very nicely and with total attention. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.

The place is not very big, more like an upscale snack bar than a restaurant. The decor is modern. The only downside was that it was quite cold in the room (November), so you couldn't eat very comfortably. I didn't see any toilets.

Our family loved this place! We were in Lisboa for 3 days and found this gem of a restaurant on our last day/night in town. My husband had the garlic spinach beef, my daughter ordered chicken masala and I had the garlic butter chicken. We also ordered the garlic paratha--I believe its an Indian flatbread. Wow! Outstanding flavors overall. It was the best food we had eaten during our entire stay in the city. We're from California and usually enjoy different ethnic dishes with flavor and spice and these dishes were so tasty. Staff was so friendly and kind as well. This food was comforting with plenty of herbs and/or spices and so flavorful. Prices are very reasonable. Kolopata...
