I asked for a wifi password before having a meal - I gave my phone to a waitress to type a password in. After finishing totally mediocre and overpriced meal (frozen fries, unchewable meat), sitting on a kindergarten chair which they have, I came to write a review here and saw that I have already reviewed this place with 5 stars (done by that waitress while typing in password for wifi). What a joke, that’s why this place is rated higher than it should be.

Edit: I said it was okay because this was my first meal in Lisbon and did not wanna ruin my trip immediately. I tried few other restaurants located few minutes away from your place you call a restaurant and they were very good. But look, this wasn’t that bad - but your explanation of review done by your waitress is ridiculous. You know she is doing this, what would potentially be my motive for lying? I could’ve just wrote that food wasn’t good and that’s it. I ate in this restaurant around 14:00, came to apartment I rented around 16:00, went to check Google Maps for dinner recommendations, and saw that I reviewed your place two hours ago with 5 stars. 🤣 after that, I saw hundreds of other reviews with 5 stars and zero words. Change your tactic, let her write some comments at least! Clown!

P.S. I didn’t even mentioned that your worker asked me to move tables, which I have no problem with (some people would), and at the same time as I was moving in this 5 sq. meters ‘restaurant’, your review waitress was giving me plates - like she couldn’t wait few seconds until we sit. Your response just made me angry, but I don’t care because city and literally all the other places we tried food in...

Unbelievable! Absolutely incredible service from the people to the Fado it was great. We were recommended this place by our Air BnB and chose it due to close proximity. We were not disappointed! They have Fado Thursdays and Fridays starting at 2030. First, make a reservation for Fado. We did so "to be safe" but found when we arrived it was full and had we not made a reservation we would have missed the excellent show! The hostess and waitress are incredible and the main fado signer also acts as a sort of Matre D which makes it fun. The food and wine are excellent and the Fado....don't even get me started. Who knows maybe since I haven't heard any Fado prior to this I have no idea, but wow to my uninformed ears it was excellent!!!! They interact with the crowd, get everyone singing/clapping, and the guitarist made Slash look like a member of the wiggles. Go for Fado! Go for Food! You won't be...

We stayed close by this restaurant so we had a look around in the Google reviews to find a decent place to eat , Ended up dining here with my wife and it was nothing like what we expected , The food was blend , Tasteless as it is and it was also undercooked ,

Another thing was that the waiter and the cooks were having a dispute and talking to each other in a loud manner , Didn't quite understand what was going on but to do that with guest around , That's a shame ,

When I got home to write this review , I noticed that most of the reviews seems to be fake , It might be coming from the restaurant owner itself , Paying the immigrants a pityful amount just to create accounts and write a review about the restaurant.

It's sad to see the state that we're in with AI and how google allows new accounts to even write reviews., But overall the restaurant atmosphere ain't that bad for a...

Eww, this place was the worst restaurant I ate in Portugal 🇵🇹. my fried eggs were too fried, so fried and dried, and the fries were too crunchy for that thin style of fries . My meat was so salty that I felt it through my body. I was super-duper disappointed. The food took more than 30 minutes, and everyone was on their phones. Service is too slow and not working sufficiently. Arrived seeing people sitting on place mats meant for under your food. It rained, and they should have had all tables and chairs dried, knowing everyone liked the patio, again slow service, and unorganized as a team. I didn't finish my meal and definitely wouldn't eat there again. But who knows, my company liked her meal.

First time in a fado restaurant and loved it. The music and atmosphere were excellent. The food was delicious as well. We got the traditional Prego and the salmon salad.

We came here after not wanting to wait in a 30 minute queue for ‘the Folks’ and ‘Augusto Lisboa’, we were sat instantly by two different very friendly staff and promptly served with drinks. I ordered a burger and my partner an Avocado toast, served just 20 minutes later and both were delicious. I consider myself a burger connoisseur and let me tell you it was just perfect! The waiter was so friendly and it was interesting looking out onto a busy Lisbon street, would 100% recommend and way better than going to one of these TikTok famous places that seem to make everything more and more expensive for less service and similar quality food.
