We popped in here for dinner as we were having a tough time finding places to eat near our hotel which happened to be near the castle.

We both ordered salads which were fine and my friend ordered a mojito which she said was good. Sitting on the terrace was nice too.

The prices were a bit high but as someone else mentioned, I think they cater to the castle crowd. The other thing which we noticed and then saw others mention is that they charge you the higher drink tax for your food as well. Had I known that, I would have mentioned something. I also didn't see this place was rated so low cause honestly I may have skipped it.

Also the service wasn't great. They were pretty slow and not as attentive as I would have expected.

It's more like 3.5 stars but that's not an option...

On our walk from the castle, we discovered a truly delightful spot called La Terrasse. A lovely umbrella-covered patio looking out over the city, the river, and the bridge. The space is a bit tight. Menu with a wide range of options. From seafood and pastas to burgers. We chose a couple of lighter dishes so as not to slow down our continued navigation of the city. The burrata salad was very good and the mushroom risotto had intense mushroom flavor. Both delicious. Service was personable and attentive without being intrusive. And the view adds so much to the experience, especially on a sunny day. Do not understand the low review score but every place has an off day....

First time I haven’t checked Google reviews before going to a place (couldn’t find it at first), MASSIVE regret. The food was dire, the mussels were dry and clearly not fresh, the salad looked like a 4 year old had prepped it and the chips (the highlight of the meal), were the smallest portion. The staff were friendly but crikey this place was expensive, you’re just paying for the view. The place upstairs is a LOT better. It makes sense why all recent reviews are negative. Owner really needs to take the bad feedback into account and sort it out, it was quiet when we visited it. Music was terrible too, reminded me of being in a bar at 1am when I was...

We were looking for somewhere nice for lunch after waking round the castle. The menu looked nice and walking through to the terrace felt a little more up market. The view from the terrace was very nice, but the food was a little disappointing. We had a burger, which came with crisps “chips” and a tiny pot of salad without any dressing. Burger wasn’t bad, but not the best I had in Lisbon. We also had the Cod Gratin, which didn’t look especially appetising and looked quite bland. Overall you pay for the location and view.
