Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience here. I ate shawarma at this place and within an hour, I started feeling light-headed, extremely thirsty, and my lips became very dry.
Despite drinking plenty of water, the symptoms worsened: By the evening, my lips were severely irritated. The next day, I had mild stomach pain and intense dryness that wouldn’t go away. On the third day, my lips began cracking and turned black in some areas — similar to a burn or severe irritation.
I personally suspect the food may contain overly harsh spices, acidic additives, or ingredients that caused a strong reaction. This did not feel like a normal response to spicy food — it felt harmful to me.
To be fair, the staff were polite, professional, and respectful, and I appreciated their customer service. However, due to the reaction I experienced, I won’t be returning.
