It was very poor service. We sat at a table that had no reservation, but we were asked to move to another one. This is quite inconvenient when you have children, have already hung up your things, and settled in.
When ordering meat, I was asked several times to order a smaller piece, which was very strange, and I can’t even find an explanation for it.
My tea cup was filled only one-third with water, and they were surprised when I asked for more. To me, this is very odd service.
I asked for Tabasco but received piri-piri instead, which ruined my dish because the sauce was too spicy and cannot be compared to Tabasco.
As for the food, it was tasty.

Read moreA great find! I enjoyed my dinner at this new restaurant in the center of Lisbon. The bistro was conveniently located on Av. 5 de Outubro, close to the hotel. We started with a Brie Gratin which was delightful. We ordered the "Executive" dish which was a tasty cut of beef perfectly done with an equally delicious sauce. The side of fries were thin cut and nicely crisped. For desert, I ordered the Marquize Chocolat which had a rich, creamy flavor reminding me of dark chocolate truffles. If I hadn't tried before the original french Entrecote maybe I would have had less expectation. So, if it's also your case, come here thinking that you'll try it for the first time.
The food was good, even a little above good. Only two "but": The plate didn't have much sauce, and that's the soul of the dish. The guys could have been kinder. At least a smile would've been appreciated.
