Madragoa Vinhos e Petiscos — Restaurant in Lisbon

After walking around for 2 hours my partner and I were looking forward to a nice local meal. We found this place... Upon walking in we didn't feel very welcome at all and found the server to be condescending and rude. He did not help us with the menu at all and made us feel weird and stupid for asking questions. We are not used to Portuguese menu or food so we really had no idea what to order. We were planning to sit and enjoy drinks and the whole nine yards but after our encounter with this person we only got the sausage and cheese board and left quickly. We made 2 visits and on each occasion the food, wine and service was fantastic. It's a lovely little place. I was particularly impressed by the fuss they made of my wife on her birthday.
