Worst experience ever in a restaurant. We've seated behind a aquarium that was full of dust and it seemed the water was there for ages. The food was OK, as a vegetarian can't complaint. In any moment the waiter come to the table to ask if we needed anything else, if it was all good with the food. One of the waiters was more interested in checking her phone then giving atenttion to the customers. For dessert we had a fried ice cream, it was 4 euro in the bin, it was not good at all. I asked them to bring the leftover home, the guy simply went in the kitchen and come back and threw on the table a recipient. There was a couple close to us smoking an electronic cigatette super smelly, in any moment they were asked to stop. To close with a golden key, the only two waiters in the restaurant decided to have their dinner while we and other customers were there. When paying for the bill, the woman was pretty upset that she had to stop her dinner to come and receive the money LOL she simply threw the receipt in the counter. I mean, so long I haven't been out for a dinner, because the whole global pandemic, at least I was waiting for a little bit more of respect and CLEANING and proper procedures towards the guests in there. I see here in the page 5 stars from many clients, that is why I was there, but definitly for a WHOLE dinner experience out with friends or even on your own, it is NOT worth. There are so many other GOOD restaurants same type of food and with a really good staff service that values the customer and their loyalty. So before you get in here...
Read moreWas terribly disappointed. First, I arrived early when restaurant was empty . This was during the time when restaurants had to check for COVID certs in order to dine indoors. I was shocked that the owner walked around without a mask ( the Nepalese staff had masks on), and when I asked him, he just laughed it off. I asked if he checked for certs, again, he said he is not going to care. 2) my 3 friends arrived 10 mins later and we ordered 6 dishes . In total , only 2 came. The rest took another 1 hr and despite repeated reminders, they kept getting our orders wrong. Restaurant was only half full and the owner couldn’t be bothered to help. In the end, we cancelled the last 2 dishes as we had stayed for 2 hours. 3) the food was not authentic and terribly salty. My friend has an allergy reaction to the MSG used and the staff apologized but didn’t care. 4) many other tables complained about their wrong orders and waiting 45 mins between each dish. It was a circus! Many of us shook our heads and looked at each other in disbelief! Would never ever eat there again. And we aren’t tourists- we live in lisbon. They Sure know how to lose potential...
Read moreZhiaming Lu had, for some years, a clandestine restaurant on Rua do Benformoso. In 2015 he moved to a serious restaurant in Arroios, with a window open to the street and a plake that reads "Chef awarded with 35 years of experience". The kitchen remains true to ancient times, highlighting a whole section of spicy (here there are three levels: light, medium or super). There were also dishes made in the wok and lots of skewers. Good for getting to know Sichuan and Shandong gastronomy. The spicy pork entree the Sichuan way is a must!! Not sure if the Hot Pot or the famous Lamb's Leg is still avaiable in the Menu. And there os also a difference when Mr. Lu is out and the 2nd cooker is...
