So, here’s the tea: I was all set to dine at a different spot, but life decided to throw a plot twist my way—it was closed. Gasp. In my moment of desperation (and hunger-induced panic), I turned to my trusty sidekick, Google Maps, to find the nearest restaurant. That’s when I stumbled upon this gem.

As I scrolled through the reviews, I was cautiously optimistic. But then, I hit a bump—someone moaned that they were expecting 4.7-star food but were disappointed. Naturally, my apprehension kicked in. But honey, let me tell you… That review? It was as wrong as wearing socks with sandals. The food here was not 4.7 stars—it was a solid 5, baby!

I ordered the grilled octopus, and it was nothing short of spectacular. I’m usually not one to swoon over fried food, but their steak fries? Oh, they tasted like fried yam sent from heaven. Consider me in love.

And the best part? You’re getting gourmet quality without needing to sell a kidney to pay for it. So, do yourself a favor and get here ASAP. Highly,...

Exploring Lisbon with friends from Miami and she found this amazing place by doing a Google search. We will pay it forward...but don't take our word for it, you MUST come here yourself and experience the friendly service and absolutely delicious food. Best experience we've ever had in Lisbon.

From the fresh and flavorful salad to the Ovos Mexidos Com Farinheira to the Brás de Bacalhau á Tasca and the Oito Pernas na Telha and the acorda da camarao (there were 4 of us!) we had way too much food (portions are big), but we managed to eat almost all of it. Each dish was delightful, perfectly prepared, very tasty and, while traditional dishes, all a bit different from other restaurants and extremely special and delicious.

Only negative, which really isn't a negative, is that we had no room left to try the desserts!

Definitely will be our go to place whenever we are in Lisbon and recommend it...

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We didn’t have a reservation but came when they opened and were super lucky to snag a table. We were seated by the owner’s adorable mother who helped us the whole night. The chef and his mother gave amazing recommendations, impressing us with each and every dish we ate.

I highly recommend getting the bread and olives! I didn’t realize olives and bread could be a standout dish, but they excelled in comparison to the others we’ve had across previously. The bread is homemade and the presentation is so cute. After that, we ordered the chorizo, mushrooms, and pork cheek. All amazing and I’ll be dreaming of them my whole life! We never felt rushed during the whole experience and we were treated like family. This restaurant really deserves a Michelin Bib Gourmand for how incredible it is all around. You will regret not eating here...

This is a bad experience we had on our second day in Lisbon. We came here for lunch based on the goggle review. We ordered a claim dish, and many clams were having unopened shells. We told the waiter as we thought they were not fully cooked. Then the waiter told us those were dead and not good to eat. He said the class came in a bag and they would not tell what are good ones, so basically just told us to accept the fact that almost half of the dish was inedible. We are stunned. Does that mean if the restaurant happen to buy some rotten ingredients and the chef should still cook them and pass the loss and cost to the guests? Is this how the way seafood is handled to guests in all restaurants here?

The flavors of the food were on par. The service was also good up until the point the clams we ordered came out. We realized that half of the clams came unopened, as if they were uncooked. We asked our waiter if it was uncooked and if he could take it back to the kitchen to recook them. However, he told us that there was nothing he could do as the restaurant gets a big shipment of clams and half of them come dead, therefore the muscles in the clams cannot open. I find this highly unusual and not logical at all as to why a restaurant would serve their customers dead seafood 🥲. If you do come here do not get the clams.
