Vossa Lisboa — Restaurant in Lisbon

This is a hidden gem that doesn’t deserve to be! From the warm greeting when you walk into the door to the food that will satisfy so many of your taste buds! We started with the Octopus Salad that was truly remarkable! Not chewy and prepared just perfectly! Then followed that up with the bread which was warm, fresh, and had the perfect mixture of butter and spices that still has me dreaming of it! Next was the prawns dish that was my favorite of all the dishes. So good you could drink it! Lastly, we had the steak dish. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly! Constance is such a gem and we missed her a lot! We stumbled past her cafe/restaurant on our first day in the neighbourhood and she was so friendly and welcoming, she was so great with our kids as well. We came back 3 times in one week! We’ve had breakfast here and drinks and snacks and always felt like it was our local “home away from home”. There is live music every weekend as well. We really appreciated her warm hospitality and generous spirit, and our kids love her so much they didnt want to say goodbye and wanted to come back to see her! When me and my friends arrived here our first goal was to eat anything at all, but we were greeted by a lady so nice and forthcoming that we stayed. What bought me was the concept of sharing the food with your friends and traditional Portuguese food. Even though it might seem a little bit hidden the food was just delicious and unexpectedly rich in flavour and presentation.
