ON/SET Alfama - Lisbon Cinema Apartments — Hotel in Lisbon

Even before we arrived in Lisbon, Rui provided all of the relevant information we required and was available to answer any questions we had, this continued throughout our stay (he is available 24/7) and is such a a lovely guy. We stayed in O Patio, a contemporary apartment on the ground floor. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bright and airy, the air conditioning worked perfectly and there are separately controlled air conditioning units in the kitchen/lounge and in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and although we did not prepare any meals at the apartment it did have everything required to do so. A washing machine is also provided which was great and cut down on the amount of luggage/clothes we needed to bring, there are also detergent pods provided (more than sufficient for our stay). The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen and towels of very good quality. Access to the apartment is by key card and it felt very secure.

The apartment is in the heart of Alfama, in our view the best and most authentic area of Lisbon, there are a handful of fabulous restaurants within one or two minutes’ walk and it is a perfect place to wander and stop for coffee or a glass of wine.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending On/Set to family and friends (I have already done so!) and if we return to Lisbon there will be no other...

We had an amazing stay at this location. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment as a family of four with two teens.

First off, you can't beat the location, which is right in the heart of Alfama - one of the most beautiful and charming neighborhoods in Lisbon. On top of that it's right by one of the stops of the famous number 28 streetcar, which will take you downtown Lisbon in roughly 15 minutes. There are also tons of restaurants, bakeries and mini markets nearby, which is very convenient.

The apartment was clean to the highest standards. Take it from me (I am an extremely picky person when it comes to cleanliness): the place was spotless! The beds were comfortable, and we very much enjoyed the convenience of having a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer.

But what really made the stay extra special was the concierge Rui Pedro, who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He was always available for questions, super friendly and arranged our transportation to the airport. He really made us feel welcome and at home.

We travel alot as a family, about 3-4 times a year, and have been all over the world. The stay at this location is definitely high up on the list of favorite places we've ever been. And we're already looking forward to going...

We stayed for a week in the flat A Saudade. A small maisonette, all lovingly furnished and very well thought out for the available space. We slept very well, the narrow staircase with split steps is a sporting challenge. Everything is there, from digitally retrievable tips to water / wine. We felt very comfortable. The On / Set Alfama team is available 24/7, very accommodating, friendly and offers insane service. Located in a small side street, very quiet. The office is just around the corner, suitcases can be stored temporarily, the team is always available. Very centrally located, you can find great locations for breakfast, snacks, restaurants, bars and many great sights right around the corner. 30 metres above you will find a stop of the popular tram 28. A small challenge when arriving and departing is with a heavy suitcase through the narrow streets over the cobblestone streets of the hilly Alfama, once done, you can just relax, discover and enjoy and the on / set team makes the stay simply feel good.
