Tucked away just a short walk from Vilamoura's main marina, NOA Café is a welcoming little spot ideal for anyone seeking a light, tasty bite without the fuss of a full sit-down meal. Whether you're stopping by mid-stroll or looking for a quick lunch near the water, this café strikes a nice balance between convenience and quality. Ambience & Service: NOA offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it adaptable for different weather and moods. The outdoor space is perfect for soaking up the Algarve sun, while the inside maintains a casual, modern vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive, quickly greeting us and taking the order without delay—something that immediately set a positive tone for the visit. Food & Drink: Craving something simple, I ordered a white Americano and was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, well-balanced, and had just the right kick to perk me up. For food, the sweet potato fries really stood out—served piping hot, perfectly crispy, and paired beautifully with a tangy garlic dipping sauce. The mamchos (NOA’s take on nachos) were fresh and loaded with flavor, especially the creamy guacamole that added a nice touch. Room for Improvement: While NOA Café hits a lot of good notes, it was disappointing that they couldn’t customize their sandwich options to suit vegetarians. In a place like Vilamoura, where many cafés and eateries are happy to accommodate dietary preferences, this felt like a slight letdown. Hopefully, that’s something they’ll consider improving in the future. Final Thoughts: Overall, NOA Café is a great spot for a quick, satisfying bite with friendly service and a chilled-out vibe. It’s a shame about the limited flexibility with the menu, but if you’re not after anything too elaborate and just want some tasty nibbles and a quality coffee, this place is definitely worth a stop. Just remember—you’ll need to pay inside when you're ready to...
Read moreSome time ago I bought two takeaway toasts filled with vegetables, obviously they arrived unopened and packaged and I couldn't see what they looked like. At lunch time I go to eat my toast, I open them and one was completely burnt, inedible. I posted an Instagram story to let the bar know that a mistake had been made on their part. In response I was blocked on Instagram! I wrote to the bar and was called by a VERY RUDE manager who SCREAMED on the phone saying that they block those who write negative comments and don't accept negative comments. Despite spending 20 euros on completely burnt and inedible toast, he told me I would not have any discounts or tried to remedy the mistake. BAD EXPERIENCE. They treat customers like passing tourists and don't care about caring and paying attention to the customer. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN EVEN IF I LIVE IN THE ALGARVE....
Read moreMy experience was very disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, despite the restaurant not being very busy. We waited far too long (1.5 hours) for our orders to be taken and the food to be served.
We ordered very simple drinks and had to send them back twice as they were incorrect. The person taking our order was not able to take a simple order.
When the food finally came, it was far from impressive. The dishes were cold. It was also clear that little attention was paid to quality or presentation.
The staff seemed uninterested and unaccommodating. I asked after an hour, how long more the food would be - The male waiter said he would ask - and then starting laughing to his colleagues and avoided the table afterward - which only added to the negative experience. Overall, I would not recommend this cafe—there are definitely better dining options...
