Restaurante Gaúcho's — Restaurant in Matosinhos

Too expensive for what it is. Meat quality is average, not premium as they say it is. Differences between rodizio gaucho and rodizio premium are almost none, so it does not justify the price gap. The staff avoids to bring out the premium meat, if I can call that "premium meat". If you can eat more than what they expect you to eat, they will avoid coming to your table. I left the restaurant still hungry because they stopped coming to my table after 2 rounds (they also didn't bring all the meat they say they have), when I questioned if they were still coming with meat, they were unpleasant and brought some meat that was extremely dry and its fat had already a sour taste. Was it a day old piece? Hmmmm... maybe 2 ou 3 day old. 😅 (this piece only came when I asked why they stopped coming by my table if I wasn't finished yet, because until there it was ok).

Overall it is OK, but overpriced. Live music is pleasant but too lound. They also charge for starters per person rather you eat them or not, and they remove them before you can finish it 🤣 Menu pictures on Google...

The food is too expensive for what it is, nothing special really in terms of “ Brazilian bbq” The seasoning on the meat was either too salty or bland.

At one point a waiter asked me if I was done with the my beer cause they were low on beer glasses apparently. Really bizarre

Last but not least, they tried to charge us an extra rodízio… it felt like they didn’t think we would notice and they gave us a cheap excuse. I think they were trying to finesse us to be honest and I’m sure they pull this off with a lot of tourists that go there. So expect to pay way more than you should if you let them.

I would not revisit and would not recommend this place to...

Below expectations. Not worth €30 per person for rodizio premium. Picanha was good but the rest average. The rice, potato chips, beans etc was okay - nothing special. Expensive compared to what you get. Very hectic inside and not a good cozy place. I reserved a table for 2 for birthday at least 3 weeks ago and when arrived, we were given a table at the entrance and toilets. When we complained, they just said they have no other place. Terrible customer service. Then the starter food was taken away from our table even without even asking. They were also very sloppy with food service, all my clothes are stained with meat blood. Very crowded and loud. We had a lot of people waiting by our table as it was at...
