This place was honestly incredible. I eat sushi regularly and this was the best sushi I have ever had. The restaurant is run by a very kind (and skilled) Japanese couple. Everything from the minimalistic interior, to the plates, to even the miso soup was perfect.
We got the sushi and sashimi lunch menu for 25 euros, and it was a steal. It started with a small cold noodle salad with fish, cucumbers, and tomatoes that was just an amazing combination of flavors. Then we got 10 pieces of sashimi each, and it was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. Afterwards, there was 10 pieces of sushi each with a delicious miso soup on the side. Both courses came with real wasabi, which was a real treat. Finally, we picked a desert from 3 options (the chocolate mousse was delicious).
Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough! Truly the highest quality fish I have ever tasted. If I am ever in Porto again, I will definitely be back to try the warm food, which also...
Read moreBest sushi I have had in Porto and around, and I've been to almost all of them, this is no exaggeration!
The pictures literally speak for themselves but nonetheless:
The sushi pieces are big, specially the nigirs, as they should be! Nice relation of fish to rice. Same for the sashimi. The variety of fish is incredible, not to mention the quality and flavours Genuine Wasabi! Always a plus! The sushi rice tastes great
The starter and miso soup tasted well and the tiramisu was actually better than I expected!
The Luch Menu was 25, and it had starter, miso, 10piece sushi, 10 sashimi and dessert. Incredible value!
The prices are for sure worth it. The ambience is great. Very small place, make a reservation or it will be hard to get a seat.
The lady was suuuuper nice and welcoming with a big smile! 🫶🏻
I will for sure be back many times! I have to try the...
Read moreEverything about this place are done very well. The restaurant is run by a couple. All our food from the appetizers, sashimi, sushi, miso soup to the desserts were well-prepared. They take pride of what they do, and it shows through the experience we get as guests. All of the fishes are fresh. Miso soup was well done. Their fried food (agedashi tofu, karaage and tempura) are well-balanced. It’s the best Japanese restaurant I’ve gone to in Portugal? By far.
The space is cozy (6 tables for 2, and a bar for 8) clean and aesthetically pleasing. My only advice for the restaurant is to turn on the AC as it gets pretty warm inside. Make sure to make reservation in advanced. They are fully...
