Sushi no Mercado — Restaurant in Matosinhos

Went last Friday evening and got their 36pc(?) mixed sushi&sashimi to share among 3 people. Their raw fish is very good!! Their sushi is not the type we're used to from Japan or east Asia-- the rice isn't sushi rice and falls apart relatively easily (thankfully each piece is quite small, we could eat them whole to avoid making a mess). Decent value for money.

We thought the restaurant wasn't open at first because their front door inside the market wasn't open and no one came when we (and other people) studied the menu outside for a while, but turns out they were open! I think the owners were just very busy preparing for their reservations; they told us all the seats inside the restaurant were reserved for the night, but we could still sit at their tables inside...

When we(6 people) went there for Rally Fish Matosinhos at 9:40pm, they said they don’t have place when there were clearly space on the table on outside. They said they can’t take us there and they suggested us to check other places for a while and come back. We did and came back 30 mins later and they said it’s too late and there were people getting served on the tables that we were not have sit that were not eating rally fish menu. I don’t know but it looked like they just didn’t wanna accept us because we were not going to eat much and pay much. If you don’t wanna serve for rally fish, maybe you shouldn’t join...

Estive no restaurante hoje dia 02/02/19 cheguei no local as 13: 52 e o senhor que faz os sushis foi super mal humorado e mal educado. Dizendo que as mesas estavam todas reservadas. (Vazia e com papel em cima de reservado). Resumindo perguntei seu poderia aguardar desocupar uma mesa que o pessoal estava terminando de comer já vi que ele não gostou muito pois me respondeu muito mal. Resolvi aguardar como amo comida japonesa deixei para lá a cara feia dele e aguardei. As 14: 20 eu fiz os meus pedidos. Passando das 15 hs ele veio me dizer que não ia conseguir fazer meu pedido todo porque a hora dele parar de trabalhar era às 15 hs. Primeiro veio dizer que não tinha mais peixe o suficiente para fazer todo o pedido como eu disse qual peixe você tem? Posso pedir outra coisa. Aí o preguiçoso me falou que queria ir embora. Sai com fome do restaurante porque ele não quis fazer os restante do pedido!!!! UM ABSURDO!! Não vale a pena conhecer.. Pago caro desde que eu coma bem e seja tratada com educação!!!!! Paguei caro sai e com fome !!! AHHH e as mesas que ele disse Que estava reservada...
