Churrasqueira João Paulo II — Restaurant in Ourém

Their appetizers they put in front of your table without telling. They are expensive, and don’t tell you they are charging you upfront. Be aware that this practice is generally normal in Portugal, but because this place came out to 14-20 euros I felt like some forewarning would have been fair, honest, and arguably more ethical than silently sneaking expensive butter, bread, olives, cheese, ham, and spreads in front of us.

The food was otherwise good but the end bill was a surprise. Ask for prices on everything they give you, and reject it if you don’t want it.

Super good kitchen! I went there after the celebration on 13th May, had a Bacalhao a Casa — excellent! Today I am back for the meat dish, again I enjoyed a lot. Je ne met pas de photo de notre repas car on a tout manger tellement c'était bon . En oubliant les photos au passage . Dépaysement culinaire totale , produits frais ,viande et poisson . Les gérants , jeunes et dynamiques sont d'une grande sympathie , ils parlent très bien le français . Une petite carte au choix suffisante conseils sur les plats et les vins , nous avons été ravi de leurs propositions. Des assiettes généreuses , une adaptation en cuisine rapide pour une commande d'un plat de pâtes et soupe spéciale non inscrite sur la carte . Des tarifs tout a faits abordable et je dirais même pas cher du tout pour la qualité et la quantité dans l'assiette . Une salle de restaurant adapté handicap, un extérieur . Je recommande à 100 pour cent .
