Restaurante Steakhouse Chefe Artur — Restaurant in Ourém

I had an excellent experience at Steakhouse Chef Artur. The food was simply outstanding. I asked what the best meat because Im from Argentina—and not only did they tell me, but they let me experience it myself. It truly made me reflect on what I was eating.

The service was exceptionally personalized and unique. I really appreciated the efficient yet warm attention. As an Argentine, it genuinely felt like being at home. There’s a special warmth in the atmosphere, combined with an impressive excellence in the variety of meats offered—you can really taste it in every bite.

For me, it’s a 10 out of 10. Excellent service—I wholeheartedly recommend it, 100%.

I visited during lunchtime. It’s a great spot to go with a group of friends. There’s also a beautiful garden area in the back, with a lovely open-air terrace. You can park right across the street, or if you prefer, it’s within walking distance from the Santuario de Fátima—either option works perfectly.

They offer a diverse menu, welcoming to everyone: families, work gatherings, or casual meals. It’s child-friendly, and they also have wheelchair access, which is great to see.

And as a perfect finishing touch—they were playing Argentine music! 🥰✨💃🏼 Absolutely...

So shocked this place gets a 4.6... the couvert - some rather bad olives, some OK bread and a few packaged butters ran 8.80 euro. All made decent sense except for the €1.30 per slice of butter nonsense ! Pushing the bill on a rather mediocre, dining experience, and not exceptionally good steak to 33 euro.

It's a shame I wish I could review it worse but it wasn't a 0 Star place it was OK. I did feel a little tricked and ripped off though, and not thrilled at all about the meal. It's weird this place gets so much love will meanwhile:

I suggest you around the corner to dom Goncalo, where I was so shocked to find the bill was only 36 euros while including a far far farrr better couvert, very nice soup, and exceptional Rabbit entrée, a phenomenal glass of wine and a pretty darn good chocolate mousse dessert AND this included there arbitrary of charge for taking half a massive rabbit dinner home to go... honestly I couldn't believe it. I pulled out €60 thinking I was gonna pay at least twice as much as this garbage steakhouse with very low quality ambience. Meanwhile, you can go just around the corner to what appears to be a 4 or 5 star hotel dining room I get treated so well for basically...

Fomos a este restaurante, porque estava com boas recomendações, contudo a experiência não foi muito boa. Na altura que reservei através da aplicação thefork, mencionei nas observações, que estávamos com um bebé e pedi uma mesa longe de correntes de ar. Na chegada ao restaurante disse que iamos através da app e eles não sabiam de nada, recomendaram uma mesa mesmo enfrente a porta de entrada e saída ao qual eu recusei pois estava com um bebé. Ainda esperamos uns 20 e poucos minutos para nos podermos sentar, entretanto como estavamos um pouco indecisos na escolha, foi nos sugerido pela funcionária de mesa, para o chefe ir a nossa mesa ajudar-nos a escolher ou seja a sugestão do chefe ( o que achei está atitude da funcionária, muito profissional ter sugerido o chefe vir a nossa mesa ). Esperámos mais 30 minutos e veio uma tábua com carnes, ao qual nós perguntamos o que era aquilo e o funcionário só respondeu foi o que pediram ( realço que não tinhamos pedido nada, estavamos a espera do chefe ) a tábua voltou para trás e de seguida veio outra funcionária com a mesma tábua, a insistir que nós tinhamos pedido aquilo e nós a insitir que não, entretanto a funcionária que nos estava a atender desde do início reparou e perguntou o que era aquilo que a nossa mesa o chefe ficou de ir... Enfim uma confusão... Acabámos por pedir uma costeleta de vitela, estávamos com fome, ( sem o chefe vir a mesa como nos tinham dito ) logo a seguir pedimos entrecosto de vitela, muito má apresentação veio numa travessa metálica, a mesma foi trazida pelo Chefe que se tentou desculpar, mas não foi a melhor abordagem. Resumidamente não foi de todo uma experiência boa. A comida em geral não era má, mas a experiência global acho caro para aquilo que comemos. Apesar de ser um restaurante pequeno, não conseguem dar atenção ao cliente. Realço muito má...
