Believe all the five star reviews. This place is worth venturing out from the city center to visit (~15-25 min walk). It’s on a residential street in an unassuming, quiet, non-touristy part of Porto. But take the time to go because everything about the experience was great.
The coffee and tea were both nice. The green tea from the Azores was especially delicious. We got the traditional potato pancakes (awesome, authentic, homey), the Argentinian shrimp crepe (unique, savory, delicious), and the peach & ricotta crepe (absolutely fantastic, perfect blend of flavors).
Prices were reasonable (€7-11 per item) a portions acceptable. Two of us shared the first two savory items and were comfortable, but decided to get the sweet crepe and that left us perfectly full.
Finally the service was very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Nothing too fancy but felt homey and welcoming. Great story behind the name and the creation of the cafe as well.
Again would recommend to anyone coming to Porto and would...
Read moreIf you're in Porto and looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, this place is it. I came here for the syrniki and draniki, and both delivered big time. Fluffy, cheesy syrniki—exactly how I like them, with real cottage cheese flavor and minimal flour. Full-on comfort food done right.
I made the mistake of trying another café nearby one morning, and their syrniki felt more like sweet dough pretending to be cottage cheese. Not bad, just... not syrniki to me. At this spot, they get it right: more cheese, less flour, proper texture.
Their draniki (potato pancakes) were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and arrived on a full plate (with wild mushrooms!) that actually fills you up—which, let’s be honest, doesn’t always happen at brunch places.
Also, the coffee is excellent. Rich, smooth, and made with care. You won’t need to chase it with sugar or excuses.

Prepared with kindness and attention to details ❤️ Don’t miss draniki, bliny & syrniki - truly delights of Belarusian cuisine and made super tasty. Drinks are also to die for. Specialty coffee (v60 is coming soon!) and natural wines. Guys will kindly bring some water for you to be hydrated. One more thing about Dom is its simplicity and coziness amplified by mellow music and air conditioner :) The team behind it are super friendly guys opened to a nice chat and any feedback.
