Terrible experiences. We wanted a croissant, a toast, orange juice and two americanos. Waited 15 minutes without anyone coming to the table, which was dirty with empty cups and glasses from the customers before.
I got up, asked for my order and the girl who attended us wasn't by the counter anymore, but near the kitchen. The second waitress asked what our order was. I had to repeat it and it was clear that they forgot us.
Waited 10 minutes more and nothing. Went inside and the manager asked what did I order again! In a very obvious dodgy way said that it was being prepared. I answered that if they were preparing the toasties for 25 mins they should be black by now. And the guy still dares to reply to me by saying that if I didn't want to wait that I could go somewhere else.
Terrible management, untrained staff and poor service in general. Don't be fooled. The famous Padaria Cristal doesn't belong to Portuguese anymore and most of the staff are completely untrained. What's left from one of the oldest and most famous bakeries in Porto is only its name.

I mentioned the fact that while waiting half an hour for a simple service, we were sitting at a dirty table with leftovers from the previous customers. Second, no one mentioned the nationality of the waitresses or staff. I just mentioned that they were untrained and that any one can tell. I mentioned that Cristal doesn't belong to Portuguese anymore to enhance the fact that it isn't the same old good quality and popular Cristal people from Porto used to love. Third, I don't know if the last one I talked to was the manager or the boss or whoever. I can only tell he was rude. If Cristal doesn't have a manager, it should. Maybe the service...
