We stumbled into this place like it was fate or maybe just dumb luck with good timing. It's a little place, right above the river, packed to the gills, but just as we walked by, a table opened up like the universe was saying, “You look hungry and a little lost. Sit.”
Most of the other spots were touristy, pricey, or so crowded you’d need a reservation, a whistle, and maybe a taser. But this? Bustling, friendly, and somehow still felt like a secret. We had a bifana sandwich, thin sliced pork so tasty on a nice roll (so good we ordered a second round), a Francesinha (utter chaos in sandwich form, buried in gravy, bless it), and a crispy cod croquette that could heal emotional wounds. We saw pots of seafood and pots of rice going by that made us instantly regret not arriving hungrier. Next time.
Grab a cold beer, stare at the river, toast to happy accidents. Cash only but worth every coin. Immaculately clean.

We recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant, with a nice view, great service and still affordable...
