The place is very nice, the music too and cocktails are great. We loved this place the first time we went and the food too so I decided to book a table of 9 people for my dad birthday. UNFORTUNATELY, everything went wrong... first the waiter, very friendly at the beginning, began too much friendly, and very insistant, always around the table, like a fly around us, we didn’t had the time to eat and to breathe that he was already here to take everything off the table, and it was difficult to choose what we wanted on the menu because he wanted to chose for us !!

Secondly, the food. Starters were amazing and we were happy about that, but for the main course it was terrible... we took ribs and they were full of salt and spice, I don’t know what happened in the kitchen, but it was impossible to eat so we said it to the waiter who took off the plates... (I ate ribs at Mundo a month ago and it wasn’t like that, so I told it).

After that, we took desserts... and it was pretty ok. They gave to us half glasses per person of a kind of Espumante for my father bday.

At the end of this, the bill came. And surprise, everything was on it ! All of the 9 main courses that we returned at the kitchen and all of the other things of course, total was more than 350€.

A mistake can happened in the kitchen, but when it’s the case, you really have to do something to save the meal of your clients and it wasn’t the case ...

And to finish, we really not appreciate the words of the waiter who laughs at us when he gave the desserts and said « I hope that the dessert isn’t too salty ;) » in an ironic way, and he said that many times.

Very disappointed, we...

I enjoyed my visit here. I selected a range of starters and didn’t opt for a main. Dishes are good and certainly look pretty. I enjoyed the breads with accompaniments first. Next was Iberian pork, well presented, the relish hidden below the rare meat is delicious, the fois gras ice cream doesn’t hit the mark and is not really required. Next up was Beijing duck croquettes, quite heavy but tasty all the same, they would benefit from more seasoning and a more powerful sauce. They come sat on a little Wakame seaweed… Wakame shouldn’t be a garnish, it should be a dish on its own, dressed and presented correctly it’s a wonderful plate that I would order by the bucketload (please put this on the sides menu). Then the fried chicken bao. I was really looking forward to this, the chicken could be better, and juicier, was it thigh? If so, it was probably a tad over cooked. I did enjoy the dish though but please calm down with the sticky sauce, I like to pick my bao up (as normal) but it slipped all over the show, hands covered in sauce and no wipe to help, I ate the second bao with a knife and fork, such a good serving, I was full to the top after this. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, well done to that chap, he brought my rating up a notch. Drink? That was a Porto Tonic (I’ve had a few of these while in town), such a simple concoction but refreshing all they same (just tone the lemon down). Overall, a good experience and if I had time I’d be return to sample the mains, the cosy atmosphere, and get some more of that 5...

¡Simply impressive! And I was not only impressed for the great food I could eat there, but also for the great service they offered me and how sensitive they were with my allergies. Lucky enough, we arrived there without a reservation and they arranged a table for us. Before sitting, I asked for the options according to my allergies (gluten, lactose and fish) to the restaurant hostess. She asked us to wait and went inside to ask the chef. Instead of coming with an answer, the chef came out to explain the menu and indicate what were the safe options. ¡Amazing! After his explanation, I asked for the cross-contamination in the kitchen. He assured there would be no problem. We sat and we ordered the pork ribs and the risotto with duck. Both dishes were delicious and, I have to say that this was probably the best risotto I ever had. After that, we moved to the bar to enjoy the music the DJ was playing. The day after we repeated. They not only remembered us, but they also remembered that I had some food allergies. In addition, they welcomed us in a very warm way. We felt really well taken care of. This time we repeated the risotto with duck and we tried the rib-eye wagyu. ¡Wow! It was amazing. When it came desert time, the waitress had already asked in advance so she could explain directly. ¡We had the panacota which was delicious too! This has become my absolutely favorite restaurant in Porto. ¡Thanks for everything to...

Went here for dinner with a group of coworkers. The cocktails were very nice, I was not very found of any of the food. It is an experience of flavours, a mix of things, but there was nothing that really amazed me. The ribs, that were highly recommended to us, were not good for me… not a fan. The deserts were actually very bad in my opinion. The churros were not very good for me. It was interesting to get the matcha flavour, and the “doce de leche” with salt, but the chocolate one was too sugary for me. We also had the 3 different ways of pinnaple, but I really didn’t enjoy that, it was too sweet for me. The staff was great and supper friendly, our waiter was very friendly, he choose all our food to make sure we had the best combination of dishes, starters and main dishes. The cocktails, I can say that there is one spicy strawberry that is divine! Also the mojito, Gi-Tox are also very good. The Daquiri is the original one, so no ice. Its an interesting place to go, it is very beautiful and fancy, where you can taste a lot of different flavours. It is expensive, each cocktail is 15€.
