Starbucks Sintra — Restaurant in Sintra

My latte today was of good taste and no different from previous Starbucks experiences. Good taste and enjoyable. However in all my other experiences the baristas have always tried to make good conversation and were exceedingly polite. The two ladies who were on duty at the counter made the entire experience unpleasant for all customers. One girl kept shouting at customers. Aside from that, she was also busy chatting with the other lady. As I approached the counter, I tried to call out "Ola" but to no success. Eventually they decided to stop their chat and one lady gave me an unpleasant look AND was curt and very abrupt when taking the order. I've never ever been treated this way in Starbucks worldwide. This is my third Starbucks experience in Portugal and by far my WORST experience in any Starbucks worldwide. However due to its location in Sintra I'm very sure it will continue to draw...

I was surprised to see a Starbucks here actually. They were open by 08:00, so it was convenient for me to get some coffee in the morning before everything else was opened.

The menu offered familiar items, including [American] lattes, teas, and frappes. The register accepted credit card payment by tapping. There was a restroom available in the back. The seating area is limited, maybe 3-4 tables only. They sell mugs and tumblers here! I saw the “you are here” collection for both Portugal and Lisboa.

I came 2 times in the past 4 days. Staff is unfriendly. First day they made us wait more than five minutes while 3 people at front desk cleaned. Today I ordered a tall americano and it literally tasted like water, ham and cheese croissant was burnt… when I asked the barista to taste the americano as it tasted like water, the kid tried to the explain to me how an americano was made.
