Table ordered veg rice, cheese board, alheira, beef axico, beef prego, and pastry trio. Service for food was pretty quick, service for bill and such was standard for portugal (ie. much slower than in canada). The food was very expensive, pretty high even for the average restaurant in Sintra. Food was not very good, steaks were chewy and sausage was very mushy (first time having alheira so may be typical). Portions for the prego were very small for a €16 sandwich. literally a thin piece of beef on a bun, a small dish of mustard, and a handful of fries. Alheira tasted fine but not a pleasant texture, same with the Axico. everyone was friendly and it was an okay place but ultimately NOT WORTH the money when there are some AMAZING restaurants in Sintra for the same price (Tascantiga and Metamorphosis...

We went back for 3 dinners in a row - there simply wasn't anything else on their level in town. The prices are in line with the other restaurants in the area, so you will spend 6-8 € for a starter and 18-22 € for a main, but portions are generous and service is very thoughful. What we liked the most was their Xico steak, super tender meat in beer sauce with runny egg and fries. And the octopus with sweet potato...

The menu looked a little limited and I wasn’t quite sure to get but Bella, our server and chef made a recommendation that was absolutely perfect! Her customer service would make me wanna give this place five stars! I got the cod over whipped sweet potatoes and it was perfect. We got the couvert, the olive oil and olives were great. The bread was something I could have done without as it felt like just plain sliced white bread. The Vino Verde was superb. While other places were overflowing busy, I was surprised this one wasn’t busy because...
