Temple Club

Went here for the first time, for the Halloween Night, and it was probably the last time. The place in itself has good potential with its location almost by the river and with the looks of an ”underground”club with rocks as interior. It was also spacious (high roof), had a huge discoball above the bar, a tattoo studio by the wardrobe ( at least this night ), ok lights and great DJs, Sajanka and Alienn.

However, the price and availability of water, was an awful surprise in which I didn’t want to believe. 4€ for a 33cl bottled water?? Where I come from you’re ALWAYS allowed to get free water, at bars, clubs, events etc. you name it. So this was very sad to experience. It is understandable to sell water of course yet 4€ seems a bit (!) exaggerated since it’s unreasonable to only drink 33cl of water through the entire evening..

BUT despite this the REAL problem, which I sincerely hope you fix, is that where there actually exists tap water, aka in the bathrooms, it is not possible to refill water bottles OR even drink from it directly due to this long attached tube which serves 0 purpose at all - then to deny water to those who seek it. I don’t know whose stupid idea this was but I sincerely hope you reconsider (unless this was a really shitty trick for halloween). For a club/an event that occurs throughout the whole night/morning, packed with people dancing, drinking and more, and to be without a proper availability to water (at least one that doesn’t cost you a fortune) is unbelievable and upsetting. It’s like asking for people to pass out, leave early or better yet - puke (which did in fact happen).

So, you can still charge $$ for the water, fine, but to not have tap water available and accessible is a scandal. When you fix the water problem I will return. Until then I hope people choose a club where they can feel safe, secure and are able to party...

We had reserved a VIP table weeks in advance. When we arrived, they had given our table away. Then, they tried to set up a table in the exit hallway. It was hysterical. We refused that, so they set up half a table where only 2 people could sit blocking the walkway to the dance floor. It was fine, there was not much need for a table. There was hardly anyone there so it didn’t matter much. Eventually another table left and they moved us there. The bottle of vodka was a ridiculously cheap brand and the “OJ” was some type of orange drink. It was a funny experience. It’s fun it you’re with fun, light-hearted people, and the place is very cool to walk around. Just don’t take it too seriously! The server at the table was hospitable.

UPDATE: Since the club has responded that my review is not true, please see attached pictures. The exit area is where they tried to set up our “VIP” area, the table is where they put us in the middle of the walkway, and you can see whatever orange-aid drink and cheap vodka they gave us. So….yeah….it is true. And now that I know you’re liars, you go down from two...

Visitei pela primeira vez o espaço na festa de Halloween de 31/out/2024, em geral gostei do espaço, cenário rústico devido à construção em pedra, qualidade de som razoável, funcionários e seguranças amistáveis. Quanto a festa gostei da seleção musical e dos DJs presentes, a decoração a meu ver focou demasiado no Halloween e nada na decoração típica de eventos de psy trance , fazia sentido visto toda a seleção musical ser psy trance. Os preços praticados pelo bar achei exagerados, 4euros por uma garrafa de água! Tendo em conta que a festa já tinha um bilhete de entrada de 20euros! O que me deixou extremamente desagrado foi o facto de não haver um único ponto água potável disponível para os clientes. NA CASA DE BANHO FIZERAM QUESTÃO DE COLOCAR UM TUBO DE A ACRESCENTO DESDE A TORNEIRA ATÉ AO RALO O Q NÃO PERMITIA A RECOLHA DE ÁGUA. Não sei de quem é responsabilidade desta decisão, se do espaço (temple club) ou se dá organização da festa (digital oracle), revela uma tremenda falta de respeito e cuidado para com os clientes, ainda para mais tendo em conta os típicos clientes das festas de psy trance. Vou com frequência a festas do género e foi a primeira vez q vi atitude igual, pelo contrário muitas das organizações onde vou até se preocupam em disponibilizar pontos de água potável gratuita para os utilizadores. Espero que aceitem a crítica, reflitam de modo a melhorar em futuros...
