Sabai Thai — Restaurant in Al Rayyan

I Had an amazing Friday brunch at Sabai Thai in The Westin Doha. The food selection was genuinely impressive, so much variety and mostly tasted authentically Thai. The grill station was a standout, and the desserts were absolutely fabulous. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu. The staff were exceptional too they are friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They really elevate the whole experience and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A few small details didn’t quite match the overall excellence, the mango sticky rice later in the service seemed to use raw coconut cream instead of the traditional sweetened version, and the Pad Thai while tasty would’ve been even better if made fresh to order. Also, the reservation name signage was oddly large and didn’t quite fit the theme. The Shirley Temple mocktail was a bit too heavy on grenadine, which threw off the balance. What an amazing place to have a satisfying and decadent brunch! Have been here twice now for the saturday brunch, which is something I really recommend if you’re looking for a no frills but incredible meal! Buffet style asian food, everything was delicious. Saba Thai is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Doha. The lobster curry was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, making the experience even better.
