Comfortable environment, decent price, and delicious food. 1. Price: 380nt for a meal is not too pricey especially because the tray included 3 side dishes, soup, rice, and the meat I ordered. 2. Food: The food was flavorful and filling. An additional bowl of rice costs 30nt. There are meat options as well as vegetarian options. The side dishes as well as the soup stays the same for every order, only the main side dish is the one I was able to choose (ex: meatball, beef, fish, shrimp, taro, etc) Make sure you add the pigs oil into your rice; it helps add a lot of flavor!! 3. Environment: The environment is really nice, quiet, and calm. The buildings were all renovated as an old house style. The street across from this restaurant also has the same style, so it's definitely GREAT for pictures!!

The restaurant is converted from historic building with great restoration work done. I can see they preserved almost all of the original design. Dining experience is great and give you nostalgic feeling. The food is nicely prepared and taste good. While waiting for your food, you can roam around on level 2 or 3 to check out the restored interior of the building.

🌱A vegetarian’s review🌱 One of the two vegetarian options was sold out, so I ate the mushroom. The menu set is fresh and nutritious, but I prefer it to have some more character and a heavier taste. The restaurant is located in the historical DaDaoCheng district in one of the old buildings.

Happen to walk into this beautiful 老屋（Old House) restaurant. Atmosphere was ecstatic! Chicken Soup set was worth a try if you are lucky if its not sold out. Pot of Gardenia Oolong was a awesome fragant tea to enjoy with the meal. Service staff is very attentive! Very reasonably priced.

Wonderful restaurant in the Old Town area. The food is wonderful and presented beautifully. Important for tourists is that some staff speak English and the menus also have English descriptions of the dishes. Service was very attentive. Definitely worth the visit to try the food.

台北では絶対に行きたいと思っていたごはん屋さん🇹🇼 迪化街の中にあるおしゃれなお店✨ 110年前からある米問屋をリノベして作ったレストランです🌾 元々お米屋さんなので、精米したての香米と台湾家庭料理がいただけます🇹🇼🍍 open前に伺いましたが、すでに並んでいました 日本人もちらほら…🇯🇵 注文したのは、 ・エビボールのから揚げの金沙粉和えセット($370┊︎約1480円) ・豚バラ肉の醤油煮セット($370┊︎約1480円) 日本人と伝えると、日本語メニューもくれるしかわいらしい日本語で案内してくださいます🥰 お料理は台湾にしてはちょっと高め…🙄 やけど味は想像以上に美味しかった！☺️💕💕 エビボールから揚げは、エビの天ぷらのようなフライのような食感と味 これは正直想像通りやってんけど、妹の食べてた豚バラの煮込みが絶品✨ わたし八角とかの香辛料が苦手で、妹にまず食べさせてから自分が食べるスタイル😂 「これ絶対おねいける！！」と言われて半信半疑で試してみためちゃくちゃ美味しい🥺 とろとろの角煮で、周り見たらこれ食べてる人しかおらんかったわ🤣 小鉢系もどれも美味しかったけど、スープはすごく苦手やった🥲 なんか、漢方そのままって感じの味やった💦 ご飯は、上に温かいラードと醤油をかけてラードご飯にして食べるんやけど美味しすぎてびっくりした😂💕 ラードとか苦手な部類やのに、これだけ食べにまた台湾行きたいくらいです。 お店は３階建てで、わたしたちは２階でいただいたけど空間が爆発的にかわいかった🧡 わたしたちがお店を出る頃には1時間以上も待ち時間があるみたいなので、人気店なのかも☺️ ご馳走様でした！
