You can find this toufa specialty at the end of the Ninxia Night Market main stretch, turning left on Minsheng Rd. After walking through the spartan night market stalls and establishment, you'd find the ambiance especially refreshing. One side of the wall is decorated with framed memorabilias of visits from famous people, including a Taipei mayor.
They're known for the toufa dessert soup and shaved ice. There are more than a dozen seats inside; however, if it's full, they have separate seating areas 6-7 doors down, quite amazing considering the cost of real estate.
The toufa soup can be either cold or hot. I find the soup not sweet enough but some people may welcome that. The toufa itself is nice and silky. Most popular toufa soups have 2 paired toppings. Baba + peanuts, mung bean + boba, red bean + taro dough, taro + taro dough, etc. The only topping we had issue with and would advise against would be the taro dough. Read moreThis bowl of tofu pudding arrives with a simple yet elegant presentation, set on a traditional-style tray that quietly enhances its charm. The douhua itself is incredibly silky and delicate—melting effortlessly in the mouth with a gentle hint of soybean flavor. It’s not overly sweet, allowing the natural taste of the ingredients to shine through.
The red beans are cooked to perfection—soft but not mushy, with just the right sweetness to complement the pudding. The peanuts are a real highlight as well, stewed until tender and creamy, adding a comforting texture that pairs beautifully with the crushed ice.
The ice adds a refreshing chill that makes this dessert especially satisfying on a hot day. It cools without watering down the flavor, keeping each spoonful light and balanced. Overall, it’s a humble yet soul-soothing dessert that offers harmony in both taste and texture.
Perfect as an afternoon treat, a post-meal finish, or a way to cool down in summer—this douhua is a quiet kind...

Even the expiration date is still until 7/11 even though today is only 7/6. they should retrain the way to preserve and behave when seeing the drink showing...
