The food was Lebanese-standard good, for a meze platter which comes, strangely enough, with rye bread instead of any of the bread varieties more geographically and culturally aligned with Lebanese food. The beverages aren't as advertised (no cardamom for the cardamom-flavoured ones on the menu). The staff were attentive when it came to taking/delivering orders, but would not turn down the music blaring out at club volume from the loudspeakers; twice I asked them politely to lower the volume, and they pretended to do so, but did not. Miercuri 9 August 2023, ora 11:00, nefiind din capitala cautasem pe google o locatie cu mic dejun foarte bun, si am gasit Za lokal. M-am dus pana in zona, ba nu gaseam loc de parcare, pe urma imi dadea nu stie ce eroare cand puneam Google Maps sa caut locatia, si m-am invartit cam 30 de minute ca prostul pe acolo fara sa gasesc locatia, lesinat de foame si sete. Mi-a iesit in cale Amoom, la prima impresie mi-a placut ambianta, masute cu umbrele pe stradute, exact ce imi place mie vara. M-am uitat pe maps, imi scrie ca e restaurant specific libanez, am ezitat sincer pentru mic dejun, dar am fost inspirat si m-am uitat pe meniul lor online, si foarte bine am facut. All day breakfast minim 20 sortimente, bun, ma asez. Apare Florin, ospatarul, foarte amabil si respectuos de altfel, ii spun de faptul ca apare locatia ca restaurant libanez si imi explica ca e o eroare, si ca nu sunt restaurant libanez, lucru de care mi-am dat seama ulterior. Comand micul dejun, un espresso scurt, fresh de portocale si oua benedict cu cheddar. A venit foarte repede, in maxim 5-6 minute, ouale benedict gatite perfect, painea un pic crocanta pe exterior si moale interior, gust foarte misto, si vibe foarte misto al locatiei si celor 2 angajati prezenti. Am platiti 85 ron, decent as spune tinand de serviciile oferite si calitatea mancarii. la plecare il rog pe Florin daca imi da voie sa fac o filmare si in interior ca vreau sa le dau o recenzie buna pe google. Colegul lui a eliberat incaperea din interior fara macar sa il intreb ca sa pot filma, si la plecare mi-au oferit si o minibaclava gratuita ca desert. Foarte misto experienta la ei, cu siguranta mai revin cand sunt in Bucuresti, de data asta vreau pe timp de seara, mai ales ca au si narghilea la 90 ron din spusele lui Florin. Below average food, the ham in Croque Madame is the cheapest one, the pancakes lacked the mascarpone cream and overall not that tasty. The service is really nice but that's the only highlight.
