Read moreI quit meat about a year and a half ago and I find it really difficulty to enjoy burgers (which have always been my favorite dish - I know, I'm a simple man-), because all the vegan/vegetarian patties I've had in Romania were merely a mix of deep-fried mashed potatoes, mushrooms and beans. They're in the menu just so they can say they have vegetarian options.
The only exceptions are the meat-like patties, such as beyond burger or moving mountains burger, but even those are difficult to find prepared in a decent manner when going out - I mostly enjoy them cooked by myself. That is until I had a burger at Sara green. It was perfect, down to every ingredient: the patty, the sauce, the fresh vegetables inside and that HEAVENLY homemade bun (actually, everything's done in-house).
