Berăria H Herăstrău — Restaurant in Bucharest

The location of this venue is outstanding, but that’s all it is. We get inside and it was very hot so we sat outside in 92 degrees weather because they do not turn on the AC. We were told people prefer to be outside so they don’t turn on the air. Food is ok but not great. Among other things I got the burger with fries and coleslaw. Fries were good, the rest I would not eat again. We also got a plate with vinete, zacuscă and fasole spread and it was good, but they only have some dinner rolls and a pretzel you have to buy separately. Ciorbă de fasole cu afumătură soup was ok, but we did not realized that you have to get sour cream or o hot pepper separately. In fact all their condiments are separate charge. Service was just terrible. Asked questions about their beer selection and the waitress said she did not have time to go over that. Remember that 92 degrees weather? We finished our drinks real fast and the waitress never came back to offer more drinks. After we were done, waited about 10 minutes for the bill, and told the busboy we wanted our bill. We waited other 15 minutes until I flagged down the waitress for the bill. Finally she got our bill. Not at all a good experience, will not...

While I can’t personally speak to the food — I didn’t eat during my visit — the rest of the group was more than satisfied with their meals, which is always a good sign.

What truly stood out to me was the incredible atmosphere. The energy in the venue was electric and made the entire experience unforgettable. The highlight of the night was definitely the live performance by Zdob și Zdub, who played for around an hour and a half — though it felt like only 10 minutes. That’s how engaging and exciting the show was!

Am fost recent la Berăria H și per total experiența a fost foarte plăcută, cu mici lucruri ce ar putea fi îmbunătățite.

📍 Localizare excelentă – situată chiar lângă parcul Herăstrău, Berăria H beneficiază de o priveliște frumoasă și de o atmosferă relaxantă, mai ales vara când terasa este deschisă. Accesul e destul de ușor, iar parcarea din apropiere poate fi o provocare, dar cu puțină răbdare se găsește loc.

🍽️ Mâncarea este gustoasă și porțiile sunt generoase. Am comandat câteva preparate tradiționale – mici, cârnați, coaste – și toate au fost bine gătite, aromate și servite calde. Gulașul în pâine și platourile pentru grupuri sunt o alegere bună dacă mergeți mai mulți. Deserturile nu m-au impresionat în mod deosebit, dar sunt ok.

🍺 Bere pentru toate gusturile – au o selecție foarte variată de beri, atât locale cât și internaționale, iar servirea este rapidă. Recomand berile artizanale românești, mai ales dacă vreți să încercați ceva diferit. Chelnerii știu să recomande în funcție de preferințe.

🎶 Atmosferă vie și muzică live – probabil punctul forte al localului. În seara în care am fost noi, a cântat o trupă live, iar energia era molipsitoare. Scena e bine pusă la punct și sunetul e de calitate. E genul de loc unde poți veni atât la o cină liniștită cât și pentru distracție cu prietenii sau colegii.

👥 Personalul a fost amabil, însă se simțea că sunt foarte aglomerați. La orele de vârf se așteaptă mai mult până vine comanda sau nota, dar nu e vina ospătarilor – se vede că se străduiesc. Ar fi util să fie mai mult personal în serile aglomerate.

💶 Prețurile sunt decente pentru o locație atât de mare și populară. Nu e un loc ieftin, dar nici exagerat. Se plătește și pentru experiență, nu doar pentru mâncare și băutură.

🧼 Curățenia este bună, inclusiv la toalete – lucru important pentru un local cu un flux mare de oameni.

📱 Rezervările sunt recomandate, mai ales în weekend. Dacă mergi fără rezervare, ai șanse mici să găsești masă liberă după ora 19:00.
