Parcul Ioanid — Attraction in Bucharest

Years ago it was a small, intimate park, an oasis of comfort in a dusty and busy city. I found a dirty place with overflowing junk bins, with so many people one has to carefully navigate the place. The benches were full. Practically the coquette park was turned into another glorious Socialist park from one of the dormitory areas built for the Working Class back in the 1960s and 1970s.

Very nice park with basketball and football court, 1 playground and a kiosk and a nice tiny lake in the middle, good for bicycles and kids. Taking walks is very nice there, lots of space and you can do some climbing on the side of the lake, and also has a turret (foisor) near it with a roof and benches.
