Elysium Apart Hotel — Hotel in Bucharest

The location is very near to Piata Romana, also there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby which is helpful. I spent 3 weeks in this apartment (I'll check out tomorrow). The first two weeks were great, relatively peaceful, but in the last week, 6 teenagers moved into the apartment upstairs. They are incredibly noisy, doors slamming, I can hear their footsteps trampling around. And they don't go to bed until 2am, no consideration for others.

But they're kids enjoying themselves overseas. Can I blame them? Not really. However, I think there should be a limit on how many people can stay in one apartment. 6 is a bit much in terms of noise and...

We were completely scammed. They charged us over $1,000 even though we didn’t stay there a single night. We mistakenly booked on Booking.com without realizing the reservation was non-refundable, and only noticed the issue three days later when we canceled.

They refused to return the money, claiming “Booking’s policy” doesn’t allow it. But when we contacted Booking, they said that this is simply not true – the host has full discretion to issue a refund and chose not to.
