McDonald's — Restaurant in Bucharest

2nd January 2022 Casual Sunday noon, right after New Year day - I went in to buy a coffee from McCafe inside. There was this reward: when you buy 3 'grande' size coffees you get to pick a special McDonald's tea cup. I only need one more coffee so I used an offer from the McDonald's App to get a discount on my coffee. The baristas there (there were two of them) told me that only full price coffees count for the reward cup. I understood and was okay with that, but they wouldn't stop explaining to me about it, almost like a rant and semi-yelling. Also they were taking their time making a simple cappuccino. Even their supervisor which went by, told them to do the order already. I gave one star because of the ongoing useless ranting and the service itself, taking their time making the beverage. I placed an order online for them to bring to the table. After 15 minutes my husband went to question and they told him to wait. After 25 minutes I went to question and the employees completely IGNORED my existence even though I spoke in Romanian to them. When I asked for a refund to go elsewhere for dinner, the employee ignored me and called more customers to attend once, twice, three times. I ended up yelling at her asking if I didn't understand English or Romanian. she went to call someone insulting me and ignoring the fact that she was completely incorrect as a professional, who told me she would now take my order. It is obviously not healthy, but it's tasty and that keeps me coming there from time to time. I like the fact that there're lots of ways to get your food - through the McDonald mobile app, through multiple delivery services like Tazz or Glovo, through their in-store tablets. The service got better, in the past they would frequently forget to put some of the items in the bag. It didn't happen in a while so I'll give them that.
