MEGUmi — Restaurant in Arbat District

Four stars for the environment, unfortunately one for the food ordered, the sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri. I am not even sure whether the chef has any sushi background. The rice is loosely packed with regular short grain you practically need five fingers to hold without falling apart. The $20 piece toro is more like chuto instead the fattest belly portion otoro and was cut too thin to be called sashimi.

The place feels like a rich owner with a strong opinion, the kitchen with money pressure even the menu price not less than Dubai, the chef without true Japanese food concept. Seriously, the Sushi boat has better tasting sushi. But maybe I should not have ordered the Japanese dishes.

The atmosphere, décor, and service are excellent but food and drinks are definitely overpriced. I have been to many Michelin star restaurants around the world and don't mind paying for great food. I was very disappointed. There are a few exceptional fine dining restaurants in this area. I suggest you visit those...

Япония.Как сказал известный советский журналист, словно 15 камень сада Реандзю.Как бы ты не старался с любой проэкции Ты видишь 14 камней..А в саду 15))Но рестон Мегуми попытался -это сделать !Посмотрите какая великолепная японская винная карта.Там я нашел и Дассай 23..Кашерное саке (сертификат и фото раввина показали)) с остатком риса 23 из 100..% после шлифовки!И саке восточной провинции, которое пил наш президент В.В, когда был в Японии .Саке называется Нанбу Бидзин, что в переводе означает восточная красавица из провинции Нанбу..И даже игристое саке, которое на японских авиолиниях подают за место шампанского .И вино умесю на зелёном чае . И конечно прекрасный Сомелье и профессионально дружелюбный персонал помогли увидеть мне 15 камень сада Реандзю в ресторане...
