My friend & I went in & ordered their"most popular" burger and an apple pie The apple pie was stale & the apple stuffing was honestly hard to eat because it had turned sour on the edges of the pie.

Absolutely unacceptable to serve this to customers.

Things got even worse when our burgers arrived. The burgers looked nothing like the picture in the menu & worse yet we ordered the patty to be cooked medium and what we received was burnt meat.

I am not even exaggerating, the burger patty had a layer of burnt charr on one side that I had to remove with a knife because it tasted like coal. The chef tried to hide it by putting the cheese slice over the burnt layer. So he absolutely knew he had messed up & was actively trying to hide it.

Worse yet, the chef came out to argue that he had cooked the patties perfectly medium, but by the time the food had arrived at our table the residual heat & I quote "had cooked the patty to well done". He tried very hard to argue that the burnt charr layer was normal & that we don't understand how flame grilling works.

He literally tried to lecture us on grilling a burger patty to excuse him burning the burger on one side while he was clearly preoccupied chatting up one of the female wait staff & didn't pay attention to the grill.

So apparently it wasn't his fault, it's our fault for not eating the food straight off the grill. Absolute and utter muppet.

This "chef" can't even cook a burger patty without burning it. He does not belong in this kitchen.

The waiter was extremely apologetic but overall experience was so bad it honestly ruined our whole night. Especially the rude, dismissive & aggressive chef.

They still tried to make us pay for the burnt burgers. 0/5 stars. Horrible experience. Will never eat here again. & this is coming from someone who has never complained about a meal...

I was invited by @56avenuediner to try out their friday buffet dinner. It is located in Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya.

They had a vast range of dishes in the buffet, what caught the attention was that you can order your favourite type of meat and get it grilled right infront of you. Yes! Live grilling. From lamb chops, chicken, lobster, shrimps beef steaks to their newly added crabs. The grills had a separate buffet with their sides including rice, corn on the cob, wedges and vegetables. Food was good, but I totally loved the dessert buffet. 🤩🤩 If dessert is your weakness, you are going to love this place! Best part, It's 50% off for ladies. Buffet price is 180sr and 50% off specially for ladies.🤩 They had many other items in the buffet too like pasta, spring rolls, caesar salad, samosas, falafel, hummus, chicken drumsticks and much more. The ambience is lovely and a great for a fun night out! 💕 • •

The resto is located inside Hyatt Regency Hotel. At first glance, they offer variety of choices for their seafood buffet. However, taste and quality of food is not on par considering the price and level of the place. We asked to cook specific seafoods but was not made as ordered (ie: the lobster was huge but then they serve you the smallest one).

They should also add different kinds of style of cooking to cater to all guests. Lastly, some staff were attentive and knowledgeable with the menu, however, there were staff (specifically inside the kitchen) who were not helpful. We came at a not so busy time, but the guy and lady servers in the dessert area were deliberately ignoring us as if thy were busy with something. In fact, there were no other customers while I was ordering some desserts there, but no proper gestures or nod was ever made to acknowledged my presence. I had to really catch the attention of the lady server to attend to me. Maybe we just visited on a bad night, where the workers did not have...
