NUE by Nomad — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

I booked a table for 12:15 AM, well within the restaurant’s operating hours (they close at 2 AM). But the hostess called me to say the kitchen closes at 12 AM and asked me to come by 11:30 PM instead. I explained I couldn’t make it that early, and we settled on 11:45 PM—which already meant changing my Thursday night plans.

What made me stick with the reservation was that I confirmed with the hostess that they had vegan options. She listed three dishes (pasta, pizza, and a rice dish), so I agreed to go. Then, at 11:49 p.m., I got another call asking if I was on my way because the kitchen was closing. It felt more like they were pushing me to cancel.

Still, I arrived, only to be told by the server that I had five minutes to order. I asked about vegan options and immediately realized the server had no idea—he was suggesting non-vegan items and thought I meant vegetarian. I asked if the rose pasta had cream, and after some confusion, he finally admitted they had no vegan options at all.

I was fuming. I told him the hostess confirmed vegan dishes to me earlier, and he brushed it off, saying “she’s Saudi. She doesn’t know the menu.” That was an unacceptable excuse and completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, I noticed other guests who arrived after me were not rushed at all. They were treated calmly and respectfully—while I was pressured from the moment I walked in.

🚨Be aware 🚨Service is bad 🚨, Macdonald would give a better service than this. They pretend not to see you!! Never seen this at any restaurant.

They don’t clean and check if the table was paid(ignored me when I asked and even waved they would offer their service for the table NEXT to me and pretend I didn’t ask/call/ wave at them) , and I paid by accident for another customer who was before me that ate and went away without paying!!! ( so they don’t check their barcode??!! And someone just ate a dessert without paying, basically for free and I’m the one paying for it ?!?!)

This is inexcusable at any restaurant. Even when I called at the number no one was answering!! Unprofessional, bad service and by default the worst atmosphere to be in. Never again Even if a while could pass I’ve never seen a playground dressed as a restaurant with a proud of their non existent equal treatment for customers Basically they ran after me when I paid for another ( unpaid barcode which is their fault) I truly was asking no one was coming until one waiter was exchanging the menus for the night and he didn’t have the chance to ignore me ( while I was 1.5 hour waiting for my car to come and asking them to clean the table that I sat on because no one was with me from the staff) I waved called the number on Google to see if truly this is reality.. no one...
