i was excited to try this place seeing as it’s always sooooo busy mashallah especially at night.

so i decided to come early in the morning (around 6-8 am) to avoid the crowd, and i would recommend the same to anyone who wants to try this place because the vibes and current weather are amazingg.

it’s important to mention that WOODS is open 24 hours which is convenient for those late night coffee runs or early morning coffees.

i’m going to be honest, i reallyyy wanted to like their coffee and i wanted this to be a perfect review because of how gorgeous the place is, but unfortunately, their coffee just wasn’t it for me. i ordered an iced spanish latte and it was average at most. i’m no expert when it comes to coffee beans but my drink tasted veryyy sour to me💔

they do have a limited assortment of pastries though, such as croissants, and i absolutely LOVED the chocolate one and would definitely recommend it💯

moving on the interior and exterior of the place, obviously so lovely mashallah. they have comfortable and spacious seating areas both inside and outside.

the staff were friendly to me and one even told me good morning and asked how i was, which was so sweet. (it’s the little things)

overall, ambience and interior+exterior design are a 5/5, but the coffee disappointed me. i wouldn’t come back for it, but if they add a larger selection of pastries maybe i’d give it another shot.

also, i’d recommend adding a menu for the desserts section as the current one only contains the selection of hot and cold drinks.

Rudest and disrespectful service in the middle of the city. I put my order in order, after i mentioned 3 orders the cashier which is black short guy (no offense but he refuse to give me his name) he blasted “ Bas karkadae?” So i repeat what i ordered. Mentioned a specific order which is “BLACK COFFEE” supposed to be automatic HOT COFFEE OF THE DAY OR V60 hot. I asked about the dessert And he showed me breakfast bakery items which he said only for that they have.

Receiving my receipt which had me “ICED V60 URAGWAY” which i never mentioned to be ice and to be v60. I was looking for coffee day which he never asked me too.

Making my order correct they had me speak to the barista in the receiving area that i didn’t really understand what was he saying.

After i had my order corrected and had me hot v60. I know there will be difference from the price which they are not really giving a care to customers concern. They didn’t care to have my change or offer me anything to make the mistake right. They just wait for me to give up. But i will not.. i had to take water and pay more 4riyals although i know i have 2 riyals different from the ice v60.
