I recently had the pleasure of dining at Paul restaurant in Riyadh for breakfast, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! This charming French restaurant offers a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes, making it a perfect spot for a delightful morning meal.
We decided to try the avocado and egg toast, as well as the Benedict egg with bacon, and both dishes were nothing short of amazing. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was beautiful. To complement our meal, we ordered two coffees, which were rich and aromatic—just what we needed to start the day.
The ambiance of Paul is another highlight. The interior is cozy and inviting, with a lovely design that creates a warm atmosphere. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having the staff's designations written on their badges as "Runner," which added a personal touch to the service. The staff were attentive and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth every penny. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu and enjoy another lovely breakfast at Paul! Highly...
Read moreLiterally the worst customer experience I have had from Paul's. I arrived to an empty parking and a slightly confusing "disabled parking". I parked anyway to get my family inside so I could look for legal parking. A waiter wagged his finger at me while shaking his head. I acknowledged that gesture but when I got inside he ran over to me to tell me to move. No problem, I told him and put my kids and wife to wait for a table. Returning from parking I noticed THERE IS NO DISABLED ACCESS!!! Why is he so concerned about the parking if a disabled person can't access the shop? Next issue, I had left my phone at home and asked for a menu. The waiter not only kept telling me to use my phone, but also made no effort to explain the menu or try sell me something. Not even a coffee or basic drink. My wife and I sat there with nothing to eat or drink while we waited for our daughter to eat a small snack we could order. The waiter was quite happy to not care about serving us or making the smallest effort to help us.
By far the best Paul's is in The View. Please drive the extra 8 minutes and go there rather than this branch. Really, I wish I had his name to shame him deeply in...
Read morePaul Bakery and restaurant. Located in Tahlia street. One of the oldest branches for Paul iN Riyadh. They have outdoor and indoor seating area. Staff are friendly but not very attentive. There was only one Waitress and one helper in addition to the cashier lady. It took like 20 minutes to get attention to make the order, and when we asked to place the order we waited additional 5 minutes. Waitress was assisting the guests, taking orders, cleaning and clearing the table all at once. There was 6 occupied tables unattended with zero attention. When placing the order, many menu items were not available and the surprise was that some items listed in the menu are no longer served but kept in menu. It was really disappointing and confusing that we decided to get soups and dessert only, which as well was available in limited variety and quantities. Awful experience and service. Perhaps it is not the staff issue since the restaurant is understaffed and staff is required to multi task. Everything was below expectations and made an awful experience. Waitress Yasmina did her best to assist all...
