Nice restaurant from the outside. Very good looking. I ordered some grilled squid and a glass of Serbian white wine.
The squid had no flavour, it has been like eating some plastic. Hard to bite. I don’t know if the chef try his dishes before serving or have any idea about how to serve a grilled squid. I’d remove it from the menu. Better don’t offer some courses that you can’t serve in a decent condition.
Nice wine, for sure. Local wines are good in the most of the restaurants I have tried. Here too.
The place have a soft light ambient (lovely at night), so the tables are provided of led lanterns or candles. No waiter taken care about turning on anything about that. It’s not nice to eat in the darkness. I can see other customers around me with candle lights on.
The waiter just came to ask me if the food was good only when he came to take off my dish. Customer care first. Tips (that I won’t let in this case) , comes especially from these details.
I am not sure that I could come again or recommend this place. I’m sorry.
I asked for a coffee to see if it can help the digestion of the squid and also the coffee is very bad. Then the bill it will has been a proper robbery.
No good relationship between quality, service and price. Sad to say this because the restaurant is nice and there is a very good...
Read moreOn June 26, 2024, during a business trip to Belgrade, I decided to pop into this restaurant for a quick 20-minute visit to grab a cocktail. If everything went well, I planned to return with my colleagues. I sat at a recently vacated table for four and calmly placed my order.
Five minutes later, the hostess approached with a displeased expression and rudely asked what I had ordered and how many people would be joining me. After I answered, she rolled her eyes and walked away.
Understanding Serbian, I overheard her instructing my waiter to lie and tell me that the table was reserved, although it was clear to everyone but her how absurd this looked. I was asked to move to an uncomfortable spot at another table. Refusing to sit there, I decided to leave, only to hear more rudeness from the hostess as I walked out.
Sharing this story with my colleagues and friends in Belgrade, I discovered that they too had experienced her rudeness. They mentioned that the food was terrible and many felt unwell after dining there.
Conclusion: There are plenty of places nearby—don't risk your health or ruin your mood. This place is not worth visiting. Just walk on by.
P.S. If Julius Caesar were here, he'd say, "I came, I saw, I left...
Read moreI was disappointed but this place and it was the opposite from what I and my friends were expected. I came here in the evening before theatre to enjoy drinks with girls (December 26, 2024). 1 — we were met by an unfriendly hostess. She found a place for us and left quickly. 2 — we waited for the waiter for 15 min and when he came, the first question was what we will order (even we didn’t have our menus cause nobody cared about it I assume) 3 — I knew that this place wasn’t cheap, but 750RSD for a mocktail? It’s water with syrup. And this fruit punch wasn’t even good. 4 — when the waiter finally came with menus (10 min more later) he dropped them on the table and it was kinda rude 5 — when we asked for a receipt he came to us giving it and told like “this is your receipt and it’s without tips (I don’t know how with that awful service he expected some tips). So the place that seemed so beautiful and bougie in reality showed up as an unpleasant restaurant that I will never came to again. And maybe food here is good, but I will never know that. Thanks for...
