This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and it will definitely be the last. The hotel certainly has some very strange rules and for the price I don't think it worth it. ||Firstly, not irons in the room, the hotel states that this is for 'safety' reasons, and so expect you to pay to the hotel to have your clothes ironed. I stay in hotels for living and I have never ever had this before. ||Secondly, no food or drink is allowed to be brought in an consumed in your room. Again, I have never heard this in any hotel I have ever stayed in( and I've stayed in some 5 star hotels), if you do bring any food in you must sign some kind of waiver(???). I was travelling on my own and had had some major surgery so didn't feel like leaving my room, but I felt like a criminal smuggling food into the hotel. utterly ridiculous. ||Thirdly, the "Do no disturb" on the hotel doors are completely useless, firstly as soon as you take your keycard out the DND sign goes out, so if you leave your room but don't want housekeeping to come in, there is no way to stop them. But even if you do have the DND sign on, you will still get a phonecall from reception asking you if you want you room cleaned(as I did on one day) and then housekeeping will knock on your door asking the same(as happened on the following day).||Fourthly, the staff are as miserable as sin. Honestly the girl on reception was quite pleasant, but the men you couldnt even raise a smile, let alone a "hello".||For the price this hotel is charging, I would expect a lot better but my stay ended up feeling like I was staying a prison. This only saving grace was my room, which had a nice terrace, but all the other negatives means I'll give it a wide...
Read moreCouldn't have found a better located hotel in the heart of Belgrade, right next to the National Museum and the main pedestrian street. The hotel is conveniently close to all tourist attractions; you can easily reach souvenir shops, restaurants, or the Belgrade Fortress on foot. The reception was amazing—very professional and kind. However, I was disappointed by the strict check-in policy; I couldn't access my room even a minute before 14:00 due to full bookings. The rooms were a bit small, but impeccably clean, everything seemed new. The bed was very comfortable, perfect for a good night's rest. Additionally, the TV had international channels in English. The view wasn't breathtaking, but considering the majority of architecture in the city center consists of old grey buildings, it wasn't unexpected. They even offer a small sauna for two people, which you can book 30 min in advance. It was a bit expensive but I guess in line with other hotel prices in the city center. Since I had an early flight, I received breakfast in a package, that was a nice touch. Very nice experience overall, wished I would have...
Read moreModern hotel, very nicely located, good breakfast, small offered sandwich lunch as another plus. Executive rooms also quite spacious, modern and with good storage possibilities and a nice balcony. Service in the hotel in general also good, with some exceptions, e.g. i) not enough taxies that could be ordered by the hotel [please also note that it is in a pedestrian zone, i.e. anyway a small walk of 100-200m to the pick-up point] on weekend (allegedly because of demonstrations), so we had to walk to the next taxi stand and try to catch one there; ii) the two booked rooms were not connected / next to each other, even though we got this confirmed in advance on our request via booking app; iii) we specifically requested them to book an airport transfer and request it to bring two child seats for our baby and the 2 year old – did not happen and we had to drive there without child seats; iv) credit card hold back could not be released on our departure and final amount was charged again – now soon 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for the release (apparently they are checking with...
