Even today, this park is an important place for gathering and resting for the students of all the nearby universities, whether betwixt or after the lectures (or exams). And, also a quaint place for dog owners to walk their doggos. But, despite it's salience as a social spot, I lament the loss of its grandeur and splendour it once conspicuously had. The walls that sequester the park from the remainder of the bustling city centre are worn down, full of graffiti, and downright broken in some places. And it used to be absolutely stunning. A place for dogs also. A quick pit stop with your child-that's probably the best description. On the down side: as opposed to the student's section, small children section has benches with no back rests, which is uncomfortable for longer stays. Also, because parks in Belgrade don't get locked up at night, it can be very dirty the...
