TLDR - it's trash, don't bother travelling here for coffee, if you are in the area just grab coffee at any of the small places around here.
The longer rant/review... I went in to get a coffee. Ordered it, paid, left, took a sip once out of the door and it was lukewarm at best. Threw the coffee (not the cup) in the gutter and went back. I ordered another one. The woman serving was surprised to see me so quickly. I ordered the same coffee and I specifically said I wanted it hot. The woman serving nodded and confirmed. A minute later it landed in front of me, I reached out to grasp the cup.....hmmmmmm "that doesn't feel hot" I thought. I then took my finger, fully submerged it in the coffee and...... behold, it was lukewarm again. She asked if I wanted it warmed up. Well, no mate, what I want was you to do your job correctly the first two times I asked so let's just leave it there.
Seriously, how do people screw this up when
a) your name gives of an air of some sort of speciality in making coffee. That is a bold lie. b) This is after a customer has come back into the store to order the exact same coffee and give you specific heating instructions. c) Staff appear to be able to draw hearts in the coffee foam..... but haven't had training on the temperature coffee should be. (you can literally google it). Or she has had training but her focus is on the pretty pictures.
Sigh, anyway, this review will probably get lost in the high amount of praise this place is getting, why, I have no idea. Having spoken to locals about my coffee issues apparently it's not something places are particularly good at / care about. But a place called "speciality coffee" would kind of be expected to perform a basic aspect of making coffee.
The place gets one star because after buying 2 coffees here I saw some positives in my life.
Honestly, it was worth buying two coffees. Having one sip in total, to know to never come to this place again. Seriously, the name is pure...
Read moreI loved this coffee shop, but I won't be back. My husband and I came, I felt tired and had pain in my back, I tried to sit comfortably, taking off my shoes so as not to stain the sofa cover. Unfortunately, I can’t sit on a sofa or chair in usual position for a long time, it causes me pain. But the barista rather rudely forbade me to sit without shoes, although my socks were snow-white. However, just 5 minutes later his dog was lying on the sofa, although before that it had been walking along the street and inside the cafe, he stroked it approvingly. I love dogs very much, but I don't understand why I deserve worse treatment in this coffee shop than a dog. You can set any rules, but be consistent! You guys could use a little more kindness. Sometimes good relationships are more important...
Read morea glass of cappuccino 180 ml, literally 4 sips. this is mockery. the croissant was delicious. a strange dog sat and begged while I was eating, did not let me eat in peace. as it turned out, the dog's owner was sitting behind the glass and ignoring what was happening. of course, i love dogs, but i don't like when strange dogs are so ill-mannered, and the owners don't care. when the barista went into another room, this dog took a bun from the common box and ate it. i will never come back here again.
I'll add.
The dog took a bun from the common box where all the buns that you sell to the customers of the coffee shop are kept. It is your problem that other people's dogs are sticking their muzzles into the refrigerator where the food that you...
