Visited the restaurant with a colleague yesterday night, Tuesday (winter time). We were quite late, arrived around 22:00. The restaurant was quite empty, one or two tables on the upper floor. We wanted to sit in the smoking area (ground floor) where we were alone.
I'm saying the above as would one think we felt lonely and the ambience to be not fitting the occasion. On the contrary. It was one of the most pleasuring experiences I have had dining in a restaurant. This has been greatly due to the phenomenal service by Asl. A waiter who probably is the best one I have ever encountered. Polite, well-mannered, gentle, not pushy, knowledgeable. It felt like private dining. Asl would always step in to fill our glasses adequately with wine without ever being interruptive but felt the most natural thing and part of the experience.
Regarding the food, we ordered some cheese beef and pork platter accompanied with red wine. It was fresh, refreshing, full of flavours. Simply delicious.
The steaks (I ordered the truffle one, my colleague the porcini) were one of the best ones I have ever had and I have been to all acclaimed steak restaurants in London (for the reader to understand my benchmark). No fancy dry aging for 10000 days or what not. The process is stated on the menu but does not catch the eye. Why does it have to anyway? The steak does all the talking and the tongue, mouth and belly will listen. Tender, juicy, flavourful. I believe it's important to mention that the truffle crème never did it hide the steak's flavour.
It was one of the most pleasant surprises as it was my first ever time visiting the restaurant and had zero background information about it.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in with my friend the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was nothing short of perfect.
The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes, and we had great wine that was recommended by newest staff member there but with so much knowledge and experience . I decided to try vegan risotto and it was absolutely divine—beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The dessert was equally impressive, a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Overall, this restaurant is a gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere makes it a must-visit! I will definitely recommend it to all my English speaking friends that are visiting Belgrade as they were amazing with serving and speaking English to please and make welcome all nationalities around us. Well done team...
Read moreCasa Nova is the most perfect restaurant for a long lazy lunch with a great ambience and vibe.
A beautiful garden dining area separating you from the street, surrounded by clean manicured hedges.
The staff are so much fun and we loved the banter throughout the afternoon.
The menu will keep you busy for days, very flexible and plates of pasta are offered with your favourite pasta style.
Our entree of beef prosciutto with goat cheese sprinkled with walnuts and olives was divine.
Garlic bread is served lightly toasted with a dash of spices. The delicious ravioli pasta was coloured made using fresh vegetables, cooked al dente.
The steaks were on another level, succulent, high-quality and cooked to perfection.
Our meal ended with a nice surprise from our lovely waiter, it was the perfect way to finish the most fabulous long lazy lunch.
