Youran Tea House — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Continuing my culinary exploration, I sampled a Korean kimchi and meat soup with tofu, along with Vietnamese meat spring rolls. The delivery was prompt, but the packaging was remarkably secure – almost as if the soup was prepared for a zero-gravity environment! The broth was undeniably excellent: rich, subtly spicy, with a pleasant hint of Korean kimchi paste. However, the quantity of ingredients raised questions about value. The entire bowl contained a mere three thin slices of meat, and the kimchi was excessively salty. It felt more like a superb broth with minimal substance.

The spring rolls arrived with an unexpected dipping sauce – a pepper paste, rather than the anticipated sweet chili. While the rice paper was of good quality, the filling was a letdown. Although all the listed fresh vegetables, including cucumber, red paprika and iceberg lettuce were present, the dry meat failed to harmonize with them, resulting in a lackluster experience. Sorry, but I had to say that I felt scammed there : I arrived just before 'kitchen closing' (around one hour before actual closing time, the clients after me where refused for dining...), I ordered a 'Chonqqing dumpling soup' (900 dinars), I received basically 6 dumplings in a bowl of hot water, with NOTHING ELSE... I really thought it was a joke. I don't know how you can seriously sell a 'Chonqging' dish without any noodles and little cooking work inside, especially for the price asked. Following this, the 'fancy' bubble tea ordered (Bailey's) had no actual trace of Bailey's taste, but very flat and ordinary sugary taste, and the dessert ('fu-teacake') was just a kind of coloury and chemical paste filled with plain cream... NEVER AGAIN (+1700 dinars billed in total !). On top of that, the waiter / cashier looked as happy and beamed as a prison door. He seemed very bored himself to...

I ordered food from this restaurant twice and unfortunately what I received is spoiled food, once in Summer and today from the Moon cake. Regardless of their active promotion and quick response, the restaurant must keep their eyes more on the quality of ingredient, which is the basic for reataurant.

+) After complaining, their excuse is so unconvincing. They said the cake is fresh when prepared and sorry for not meeting my expectation. I would like to ask why the color of ‘fresh cake’ is red and white bean paste color turns so brown😅? I ordered this cake several times and before then the color and smell weren’t like that. It would be better if you respond in frank and sincere way.
