Comida Sanchez - Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Novi Sad

I had the pleasure of eating delicious and authentic Latin food from this small but mighty restaurant! I’m originally from Brooklyn , NY and I grew up in a predominately Mexican neighborhood so I am very familiar with the language and the food. I’ve tried the quesadilla and the chicken chimichangas. Wow.

The flavor of the chicken is soft, tender, and slow cooked with the flavors of Latin cuisine . The chimichanga was perfectly crispy on the outside and even more delightfully stuffed with meat and vegetables on the inside. I also tried the mango drink and it was perfectly refreshing without being overly sweet.

The owner is a guy who works efficiently and cares about the opinion of the customers . The prices are just right and the food is generous. This has to be the most authentic Latin cuisine in Novi Sad because I haven’t found another( and I’ve tried many , believe me!)

I am from Texas, where Tex-Mex food is it's own breed and religion. That being said, I would 💯 recommend this place. The restaurant is small, clean,and super cute Mexican vibe. I started with a margarita and salsa sampler. The rita was legit and tasty. However, for the price, I could get one 3-4 larger in Texas or Mexico. For me, none of the salsas had any heat. That being said the pico de gallo was legit and the quac was good. As soon as I saw MOLÉ on the menu, I was done looking. The chicken with molé sauce was spot on. I was shocked it was as authentic and tender as it was. Excellently executed. Also, the portion was not skimpy. I would totally come back to this place, only I would ask for some peppers or heat to accommodate my meal. I would also go straight for the Serbian, "Mexican lager",...

*Update: we are back after 2 years away from Novi Sad and these guys are still incredible. They have moved to a bigger space with more seating near the city center. The interior is colorful and cozy, and the food is top tier. Support this local business when you are in Novi Sad and you will not be disappointed.

This place is EXCELLENT. My wife and I were staying nearby and dropped in yesterday, curious about Mexican street food in Serbia. I can say with confidence that their tacos are the top 5 I've ever had, and I grew up in the U.S., where there's a massive amount of amazing Mexican food.
