6 of us went here on Saturday to have a nice lunch. Atmosphere was great, service good but they didn't have half of their menu in stock. It would be understandable they don't have an item or two, but many things we asked for were missing and we were down to eat some things we didn't came for, as it would take a lot of our time to find a place with such food, unoccupied at lunchtime. For one person, waiter had to come back several times to say they don't have something on a menu so she had to change order. Felt bad for him as it wasn't pleasent for him to come back multiple times with such info. Food itself was tasty but I didn't like they made Bečka Snicla with chicken meat, instead of pork, which should've been made with - 3/5 for that. We got scrambled eggs with sausage and the farmers plate. I was impressed with both presentations on the plates. The fresh orange juice was delicious and my partner got a coffee and said it was great. The waiter spoke English which helped us a lot and there was also a little kids play area which helped keep the kids entertained while we finished eating. A nice place to eat at. I heard that on the weekend they do a buffet breakfast for a very good price too and the spread and options available for that look...
Read moreWonderful place in the very centre of Novi Sad. Decorated in retro style with many memorabilia from the old YU days.
Food, served on buffet, is always excellent (have been here many times before).
Service is fast and staff people are very polite.
For breakfast you get two plates, first for salty things and second for sweets and you can fill them as many times as you want.
All of the meals/dishes are traditional from the area and are of first rate quality (from before we know that they are acquired from local producers).
Only minus, in my opinion, is that smoking is allowed, but since that is the case in almost every single restaurant and cafe in Serbia, it's not...
