Silks Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Hot Springs

I am very very unhappy with the staff today at Silks. We as well as other patrons were patiently waiting in line with assigned buzzers to alert us as to when our spot for seating was ready..when a couple rudely cut in front of everyone and complained that they were waiting and then the manager sat them and they DID NOT have assigned buzzer like the rest of us. I firmly believe that race was the main issue and it is wrong to push everyone else back further when we were waiting over a hr to be seated and a couple can raise Cain and get seated because of their race. This was clearly not caring about customers...I don't feel the manager needs to bow to people due to political atmosphere and make others wait because someone acts like 2 yr old throwing a temper tantrum because they felt they should be served because his own words "I want to be seated..I'm hungry!" That is wrong and racially motivated and the manager caved with NO regard for others...

Fun place to watch the game, decent $3 drafts during games, and the burgers are pretty good. I recommend the wings with the sauces on the side so they don’t get soggy. I would not recommend the soup because it comes in a baby bowl and the price isn’t justifiable. The slider trio is where it’s at if you want to try their burger, grilled chicken, and pulled pork. Yes, you can try all three! It’s fun and comes with sweet or regular fries. The specials of the month are usually the best way to go and for some reason they always taste better than anything in the menu. If you get nachos, get steak. It’s actually always tender and juicy and it’s hard to share. Three stars due to over priced, small portion basic-American food in a fancy looking setting. From the first. No hostess, she was gone from her station. Even servers looked but kept walking by. Hostess finally showed up and seated us. Then our server came, we ordered our drinks, appetizer. Ordered our food. Philly cheese steak was cold as well as the fries. Wife ordered shrimp po boy with onion rings. That one didn’t make it at all, server bright her a roast beef dip sandwich. NOT what she ordered! The server asked her to keep the onion rings while they prepared her order. We told her no, wanted them hot with her order. Finally brought her lunch, with COLD onion rings. Imagine that! Worst service, worst meal we have ever had there. No wonder it was almost empty! Won’t be back in there. Needs some...
